We stayed at this house during a baseball tournament and it was fantastic to always have a kitchen and living room to come home to! Thanks for the office setup as well, it was nice to work remotely. Overall, this place had everything we needed!
Everyone in our party agreed this was one of the best rentals we've ever seen. Spacious, comfortable, great location, and the host was incredibly responsive. A great find!
Very old house with many stairs and no yard. That said, it was comfortable and well supplied. TV was all about having your own streaming accounts. No local stations--bummer! Little living room lighting.
Need better instruction on how to use the thermostat. We also found a previous renters clothes in the closet on the floor. Overall it was a wonderful time and a great place to stay. We would stay again for certain.
We were in Rockford for a Lacrosse tournament. It was close to our venue. Great space to spread out after games and be able to do laundry. Enjoyed being close to the Riverfront restaurants and downtown spots to grab quick pastries at Crust and crumble for breakfast. Enjoyed the Stockholm Inn and Prairie Street Brewing company. Host was responsive and rooms and bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was well equipped and had no issues with any of the equipment.
The good: This is a quirky and charming historic home in a great location in Rockford. Easy access to the bike/walking path. Well stocked coffee station in the kitchen. Full length mirrors in the upstairs bedrooms to help when getting ready. Large TVs in bedrooms and main room. Large closets and nice firm mattresses. The not-so-good: Pretty significant thermostat/temperature issues, that go beyond “heat rises.“ And since the house sleep 7, more comfortable seating is needed in the main sitting room.
The host communicated throughout the entire process which was helpful and very detailed. The home was very clean and spacious. Good home for a nice small family.
Was in town visiting friends for a few days, the owner was communicative and the house was clean and in a great location central to town. Would stay again, thanks!
It was a perfect place to stay for my daughter’s volleyball tournament. Nice quiet neighborhood, just minutes away from the facility and great restaurants.
We had a great visit in Rockford taking in some hikes, some hockey and the museums. We had a great stay in the house. Everything was clean and the linens/beds were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
