This is place was adorable !! Clean and exactly what was listed. The host was very responsive and answered all questions promptly. Check out the ice cream shop down the street ! 5 minutes from down town Davidson with great restaurants we went to Baloon Festival it was about 35 minutes away

The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in the perfect location! Everything was spotless upon arrival, and we felt right at home. This charming home is conveniently located near the road, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect spot for our 25th wedding anniversary getaway. We loved how close it was to Davidson, Mooresville, and just a short 30-minute drive to Charlotte. If you're planning to tour NASCAR shops and museums like we did, this location couldn’t be better. A cozy and memorable stay for couples!

Delightful stay

Lovely little home! Easy to find, convenient location for our trip. Biggest issue was the outlet next to the master bed didn't work. Pretty minor, and we were able to use an outlet behind the dresser instead. Countertop beside the stove is missing, but didn't really affect our stay. Overall, we enjoyed staying here. We'll likely stay again next year!

Spider webs

Could have been cleaner. Spider webs in every corner and centipedes all over the bathroom. Never stayed in a place before that you had to go outside and turn the well water on

Lovely place but title is misleading

The cottage is lovely. Very clean, comfortable and picturesque. There were a few things that needed attention. The electrical outlet next to the bed in the larger bedroom did not work. The coffee required a bit of searching. However, the cottage is definitely not steps away from Davidson College nestled in town. It is 6 miles away in an out of the way area of Davidson. This is in the listing but it is the first time the headline didn’t match the details. I had a local friend that dropped me off from the airport but I needed a car. I did not have a car because if I was minutes away or steps away from Davidson College, everything I needed to do was walkable. I lived 2 miles from downtown Davidson and that was truly minutes because there are sidewalks in the “nestled” part of town. I would stay there again because it was lovely but in the end, I needed to use an Uber or rental car to get to town.
