Great place! Perfect for. Bike weekend with friends! Ride in/ ride out, just like we like it. Well stocked kitchen and a bar / restaurant out the back door if you do t want to cook.
Very nice condo in a handy location. Clean except for some dirty washcloths that were in the bathroom. The loft sleeping arrangement wasn’t what we expected. The bar and restaurant across the street was noisy until late on Friday night. Overall a great stay for our family.
This was a perfect condo for us for the week we stayed in Angel Fire--centrally located, very comfortable and nice accommodation, and while we were there (summer), it was super quiet and relaxing. Everything in the listing is exactly as it actually is--the kitchen is well-equipped if you plan on cooking during your visit. There were a couple places to eat within walking distance that were very nice (Pizza Stop and Pub and Grub). I couldn't get past the 'skiing' rating in this survey so I marked it as 5star even though it was summer and we didn't ski. I grew up skiing in Angel Fire so I know it's a great place.
Loved the location. Large, very clean unit. Only wish was that it had a downstairs bedroom for the elderly parent. Easy checkin and checkout door combination. Will definitely recommend to friends and will consider staying there again. Owner was so prompt in answering any questions we had prior to our stay.
Mountain Haven Velo was absolutely amazing. This was the perfect first-time family ski vacation. The home was clean and spacious enough for our entire family. It had everything we needed for a nice, relaxing, family ski vacation. It was conveniently located to everything we needed. Whether walking distance or an extremely short ride to the ski lifts, shops, ski rentals, sledding, bar and grill, everything was really perfectly located within walking distance, but we opted several times to make the short drive instead. I cannot stress enough how perfect this home was, as well as communication with the hosts was very convenient and prompt. Everything needed to make our stay as comfortable, easy, and informative as possible, from check in, to check out, what to do and where to go, it was all thoroughly thought out, well planned, and communicated exceptionally well. Would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely have no problem returning for another visit. Great place for a family ski vacation.
We stayed for about 3 weeks in July - early August. We found the duplex was exactly as described and had a fantastic stay. My overall impression is as follows:Bedrooms - as described. The master is ENORMOUS. We didn't specifically need this, but it was nice. The other bedrooms were also as described. A couple of comments about the bunk bed room and loft.1. The loft is really scary to climb in and out of. It is a nice space once you are up there, but our kids did not sleep there and I don't think most adults would want to either.2. The fan is really close to the top bunk of the bunk bed - you cannot have someone sleeping there and also have the fan on.Kitchen - the kitchen was nice and there was a nice sized pantry. The knives were very good and sharp. The pots and pans were also high quality, but the screws were coming out and need to be retightened. There were plenty of plates and bowls and they were all really nice, however, more cups are needed. There was a can opener, some limited measuring cups and all the standard equipment needed for cooking.Living area and dining room - very nice. Dining table was a large size and of good quality. Couches were comfortable and tv size was rather large.Bathrooms - nice and there were plenty of towels in the hall closet. They had dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash.Trash - this is a weird Angel Fire thing, but there are no trash cans. You have to take your trash in the car to a designated location, which is weird.
