The Good: The house was in a perfect location on the island—peaceful, convenient, and just as pictured. The layout was spacious and well-designed, and both the pool and hot tub were clean and fully functional, making for a relaxing stay.The Bad: Unfortunately, there were several issues that impacted our experience. The air conditioning wasn’t working upon arrival, though the host did fix it the next day. However, two of the bedrooms continued to have non-functional units that only blew warm air. Despite multiple messages to the host, we received no response. The kitchen was infested with cockroaches. Although the host attempted to address it by spraying, the problem persisted. Shockingly, we found cockroaches inside the refrigerator on our last day. Additionally, the house was visibly dirty—especially the floors. It took several rounds of scrubbing with hot water and soap to make the space feel livable.Recommendation: This property has great potential due to its location and layout, but it desperately needs professional pest control and a thorough cleaning by a professional service. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful home neglected. I would not stay at this property again unless these issues were taken care of professionally.
