Excellent place to stay if you want to be away from everyone. It was nice having the pond where you could fish or swim. Plenty of wildlife to watch while you relax on the front porch. Love the place and plan on going back.
A quant cabin tucked away in an absolutely beautiful area, a great place to go and get away for a little while. Definitely recommend staying here if you can, this is our second time staying in this area and will definitely be back in the future!

Thanks for staying on the farm. I'm sorry you did not see all the extra supplies in the little cupboard just outside the bathroom. I wish you would have reached out to us, we could have helped you! There was even 2 sleeping bags in there. Take care until next time!
My husband & I stayed for 2 nights. The cabin is wonderful! Quiet & peaceful. The only drawback was no WiFi or cell service. The hosts were fantastic w/ communication. We would definitely stay again.
We had a great, quiet stay at the Bear Den cabin. Adam was a great host, even before we arrived, answering my questions and giving local recommendations. The cabin was clean and was perfect for a quiet, relaxing weekend away. We sat on the large covered porch each morning and saw deer, including a buck, a group of turkeys, and even a coyote! The hiking trails on the property are well marked and maintained. Pomeroy is a great trip to make from the cabin with lots of local shops, an amazing farmers market, and a wonderful coffee shop! I would also recommend checking out some local wineries. We really liked Pleasant Hill Vineyards. We can’t wait to come back and check out the boat house on the property next time!!

Thank you for staying with us for your R&R. Thrilled that you got to see so much of our area. We look forward to seeing you again!!
Beautiful place. Loved the cabin and location. There were a couple issues though. For our stay, there's was no internet hooked up yet. If you're depending on that, you should check status before booking. Also, there seems to be a problem with items being removed from the cabin. We were charged for a missing DVD player that was there when we left. You may want to lock up and arrange for a key drop when you checkout to avoid any similar misunderstandings.

We really appreciate you promptly covering the replacement cost of the damaged sheets. We deleted the charge for the missing DVD, because we accept your word that it was not taken by anyone in your party. This was a shockingly new experience for us, after being a super host for 6 years, this was the first time anything was missing after a guest left. The listing does inform you before booking there is no internet or Wi-Fi at this time, under the amenities list. I'm sorry you missed reading that... we have now added that in the description also...frontier keeps promising they are working on installation for us. Hopefully soon that will be resolved! Thank you staying with us.
Everything was great! Easy check-in, some bottled water and a snack were waiting for us. Clean property and there was even an extra blow up mattress we didn't request but were happy to have since we brought 2 teens.
It's an idyllic location. We didn't get to walk the property much, as we were visiting family so spent most of the time there, but did spend a peaceful morning listening to the birds on the front porch. I know the area though and it's great hiking.
Plenty of space for the 4 of us and a well stocked kitchen, though we only used a few dishes and the coffee maker.
Only suggestion would be one of the bedrooms didn't have a night stand. I needed one for a CPAP. I just used a stool from the kitchen so it worked out ok.
