This is a pre-civil war barn with original beams and foundation stones. A large common area contains a full kitchen with modern appliances and the living area has a sofa and 3 twin beds for additional guests. Additionally, there is one private bedroom with a double bed and two bathrooms with showers in each. Located on a picturesque tree lined country road that's great for taking a leisurely walk. This is an ideal destination for rest and relaxation in a beautiful quiet country setting.

The Rankins Barn was absolutely stunning! The views were amazing and the barn was so cozy and well kept. The owner was extremely sweet and so lovely!! Will definitely stay there again any time I’m in the area. Definitely a twenty out of ten!

Peaceful get away

My husband and I wanted a quite place away from others and this place was perfect. It wasn’t too far out. There was still a lot of things to do and see close by. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return.

Cool space!

Very very cool, large old barn that's been updated to include most of the comforts of a home. Place has a lot of character, the host is wonderfully accommodating. She was there to meet us and show us around, tell us the history of the place, and even left us locally roasted coffee for the next morning since the coffee shop in town is closed on the weekends. Highly recommend the experience.

Breath of fresh air; quiet for the soul

Although not too far off the beaten path, it felt like I was miles away from anyone. The kind of quiet you have to strain your ears to hear. Stars littered the sky, deer casually foraged the rolling hills and the solemn march of time resonates into your bones. Absolutely loved every minute of it.
