Discover Foreverwater, our cottage by the creek, nestled on 17 wooded acres along side Barren Fork Creek minutes from Leipers Fork Village with direct access to the historic dirt path back roads of eastern Hickman County, Lyles TN. This writer's retreat was once home to guitar maker and author, R. O. Barton (The Tucker Novels).

Leverage this fully furnished home as your seasonal escape to the country, your home between homes, or as your rural office complete with high speed broadband internet. Two large bedrooms, each with their own large cedar closets and full baths, flow into an open plan common area with a large stone fireplace, spacious living room, and a modern eat-in country kitchen. My sisters and I enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place! The area around the home is quiet, and we enjoyed the lovely sitting areas surrounded by woods and the sound of the nearby creek. The home was clean, comfortable, with everything one could possibly need. The host was great about responding quickly.

I just spent a very relaxing weekend at this cottage by the creek. It was so nice just to sit in one of the Adirondack chairs while reading a book and listen to the creek streaming down below. The house and grounds were immaculate. The house was clean, well stocked and even had a bowl full of snacks on arrival! The host sent great instructions for the stay and even recommendations of nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay again!

Oh my! We can’t say enough good things about this home. It is wooded and feels like you are I. The middle of nowhere. It overlooks the creek and offers great outdoor sitting and fire pit. Both bedrooms have a solid wall of windows with views to die for. The central living area is well appointed and comfortable. It is so peaceful and a great place to get away. The owners were great to work with. Definitely want to return!

Sitting on the deck/porch is so very peaceful…the creek provided a lovely place for quiet reflection and time with the Lord…plush cozy towels and bedding…a well appointed kitchen…and the host was amazing and very accommodating. I wish I could give more than 5 stars! The peaceful solitude of my stay was perfect for a milestone birthday. The kitchen was ideal for vacation-level cooking/baking, the bed was super-comfy, the well-appointed bathroom was serious decadence, and the amenities (smart tv & sound) were perfect. Best of all was the finished patio where I spent most of my time, listening to the creek, herons, hawks, and songbirds. Best break I've had in years!!
