We enjoyed our time in Packwood. Property was as advertised with all listed features. There were several games at the property for kids. Overall a good places for our family.
The stay in this cabin is truly a grace. The location is very convenient to national park also very close to shopping grocery. The cabin is a in good size and clean, with everything we need. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
This property was amazing. It appeared to have new updates. Very clean, warm for the winter season, and comfortable for relaxing. The shower on the first floor was similar to a massage! Water pressure was awesome. My husband and I utilized the downstairs only but there were other rooms available. Everything we needed for cooking meals at the cabin were available. Communication with the owner was great. No issues during our stay. We stayed 3 nights and will definitely seek out this property again.
Not only was the location so easy to go to Mt. Ranier and explore the area, but the house was perfect for our family. So clean and well stocked. The beds were comfy, the table was big enough for games and dinner and mapping out our plans, and the shower pressure made me happy. I can’t wait to come back again one day!
The house feels very spacious! It was a very quiet neighborhood with nice open areas. The kitchen is really easy to work in and the appliances are super nice! We walked the trails at the nearby Skate Creek Park and enjoyed lots of skiing. They have lots of family-friendly dvds and games :) The beds were comfy and they provided lots of linens/towels/hangers/etc. The owner was very quick with communicating. The only downside was not being able to use the wood burning fireplace at this time, but the owner said they are in the process of installing a propane one in the future :)
We stayed here for two nights while exploring Mt. Rainier. It was a convenient location for both the Sunrise and Paradise areas of the park (and helped us avoid the crowds of the Nisqually entrance).
The house itself is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with amenities like a pool, playground, and par-3 golf course within short walking distance. The interior of the house is invitingly laid out, remarkably clean, and well stocked. It feels like a real home…we really appreciated that.
The region was in the middle of a severe heat wave while we were there (100+ for most of the day) and this house (like almost all others in the area) does not have air conditioning. The host provided tower fans to make things more manageable.
Overall, we found the house to be a perfect place to base camp out of for a few nights. We would stay here again.
