Gorgeous views and lovely host! We had an incredible 9 nights at Top of the Hill Blue Sunshine! From the start, Alfreda offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal and then, because we rented a car, offered to meet us at the bottom of the hill to show us the way up. From grocery store and restaurant advice to lively breezes and bedroom a/c, we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend!

Amazing location and views. Clean and comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen, including water and soda in the fridge. We did several days of diving out of Hodges Creek Marina and the location of the house was perfect. The road up the hill is STEEP but not rough, AWD recommended.

Stunning View

The "Top of the Hill" description of the property was spot-on! Absolutely stunning view! We were able to enjoy the view from the deck at the back of the property. Alfreda and her family were so kind and went out of their way to welcome us and assured that we made it down the "hill" without issue. Thank you for a beautiful place to stay before we had to leave paradise.

Alfreda was a pleasant, conscientious hostess who keeps her rental spotless. The apartment is literally high up on a hill overlooking Hodges Creek Marina below and the Beef Island Airport across the bay. You can't beat the view!!! Of course, that means a steep climb up the hill (at least, relative to what we are used to) to get there. There is plenty of AC in the bedroom and we found the trade winds blowing through the living room very pleasant and comfortable. That portion of the apartment doesn't appear to have AC and we didn't need it but if that is a deal breaker for you, then be advised. My wife and I would be more than pleased to stay there again the next time we visit Tortola. Thank you, Alfreda, for a pleasant place to stay!

Gorgeous View

We loved our stay with Alfreda and family! Claude was a wonderful and charming taxi driver, always open to a stop at the store. The house is very well-stocked in terms of cooking utensils and supplies. It was impeccably clean. Air conditioning in the main bedroom worked great, excellent for sleeping! I would definitely stay with them again should we return to the BVI!

Amazing views

Stayed one night before getting on a charter boat. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Claude drive us around and gave us history of the island. Recommend dinner at Loose Mongoose which was wonderful! Apartment was clean and beds were comfortable. Drive up to the top of the hill was a little difficult but Claude was a pro. Woke up to the most amazing view. We were allowed to soak up the view and leave on our schedule. Would recommend staying at The Top of the Hill. Alfreda was a most gracious host.
