I wish I could give this house 4 1/2 stars, but that isn't an option, so I gave it 4 stars. I reserve 5 stars for places that are above and beyond, so that is the reason for only 4. This house is roomy, the rooms were clean, and communication was very responsive. It is on a very large lot, which was a nice feature, compared to a lot of lake houses, which are often very close together. There is a nice view of the lake, and the deck is quite large. Nice place for a family vacation.

We had everything we needed for family dinners, fishing, outdoor bonfires, and relaxing sunsets. Great place for large groups with lots of fun at the nearby parks!

Location was great, house sits on a large cove perfect for skiing etc. Private dock was perfect for bringing your own boat or renting. I would say the pictures of the house were a bit misleading. Pictures made the house look larger, newer and cleaner. I would say the cleaning needs improvement inside and out, a lot of dead bugs, spider webs, it just seemed unkempt. Nice cove for floating and boating.

Our family had a fun trip at this property. The lake was a great way to cool off during a VERY hot week. We had everything we needed to prepare meals, etc. We didn't realize in advance that the dock is shared with a neighboring property. The neighbor is very nice though. Maybe it was due to the extreme heat the week we were there, but the house did have a moisture odor. We got used to it quickly but one of our family members has some lung issues so we were a little concerned about that. Overall though we had a nice family visit. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had plenty of space.

This was the perfect place for two families of friends. Ample space, the home was clean and had a great layout. Very easy check in and the private dock was a definite plus! If we go back to the area we will stay here again!

The large deck and lake view/proximity are the highlights of the house. It was quiet and relaxing.However, upon arrival, the first impressions were very discouraging. The front of the house bore little resemblance to the site photos - overgrown lawn, shaggy shrubs, front door with no awning, front deck green with mold. When we opened the house, it looked like it hadn’t been used in a while. It had a closed-up, damp smell, there were spider webs on the TV and window corners, and the windowsills were littered with dead bugs. We cleaned off the bugs, lit some candles, and opened windows and the smell gradually faded. We went to light the gas grill but because it was dirty & greasy, we had to clean up and burn off that mess before we could cook dinner the first night. The kitchen faucet never produced hot water, but we were able to use the dishwasher for cleaning dishes.After cleaning and settling in, we found the beds and bedding were clean and comfortable, as were the bathrooms. The washer and dryer are large capacity and worked great.Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but it got off to a very bumpy start. There is a definite disconnect on appearance and cleanliness.

Great place !!!

Our family of 12 had a wonderful time in this home. Plenty of room and loved the back deck! The dock was great for the boat, fishing and swimming! Would recommend it for sure!

Very nice house!

The house was great! Clean, well stocked, plenty of comfortable seating and very comfortable beds. The kids had so much fun on the tree swing and swimming off the dock. The owner was very helpful answering any questions I had. We would definitely stay here again

Beautiful view. The house was very clean and nicely laid out. You couldn’t ask for a better host and love the fast communication. The deck was huge and the dock was great for fishing. Which also was good. The neighbors were nice and it was a lovely neighborhood. Highly recommend this property.

Great kitchen except coffee craft does not fit the Keurig coffee maker. Plenty of supplies. But the best thing of all is the view of the lake and the dock where my grandchildren could fish we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great views

Great views and lots of room for a big family with 4 bedrooms plus a game room. Only negative was the water pressure in the master shower, but wasn’t a big deal to us. Would definitely go back.

Our week stay was ok but there are several maintenance and upkeep issues that could have made our stay fantastic. There were a lot of spiders inside the house and the house has a very strong musty odor. The odor was so strong I could smell it on items when I unpacked from our trip. The flooring was coming apart and in some places was sticking up. The grill wasn’t cleaned and the igniter didn’t work. The kitchen pans and the outdoor furniture/cushions need to be replaced/updated. Some of the boards on the dock are in need of replacing and it’s not a private dock as stated in the description. Also the bunk room was very hot. The good things were the beds are very comfortable, there is plenty of space to spread out in the house, the walk to the dock and the yard/view was very nice, and there was plenty of paper products and hand soap supplied for our week stay. The house is conveniently located between town and The Land Between the Lakes. It’s also close to the state parks. I’d say if you were only staying for a few days it would be fine.
