About this property

One Bedroom Oceanfront Villa

Stay in this spacious unique 2 floor oceanfront villa. It is reminiscent of a Mexican Hacienda with unique tile floors, inlaid hand painted tile wall murals and beautiful stained glass windows. The private front door entrance leads into a large open living and dining area on the ground floor with views of the tropical garden and patios. Prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen or outside on your gas grill. This villa has an indoor and outdoor eating area. There is a half bath on the ground floor. On the second floor is a large bedroom with king bed, a sitting area, along with a full bathroom. Enjoy the views of the gardens and ocean while lounging on your private second floor balcony.
The ocean is a few steps away through our security gate. Enjoy sitting on the beach or under our private cabana which is feet away from the shoreline. We provide beach towels, chairs and umbrellas. The property’s heated pool is a great place to relax, swim and to enjoy the incredible sunsets that this area offers. There are two kayaks and a paddle board for guests use. We are located in a residential area that is between two small towns that are about a 15-20 min walk away. They offer a variety of restaurants and food markets. Pickle ball and tennis courts are a 7 min walk away. This apartment is the largest unit in a private gated two villa and guesthouse property that are also for rent. We are excited that the new road has opened which makes getting here from the Puerto Vallarta airport quick and easy. We are about a 1 hr drive from the airport. Experience Mexico here away from the crowds

Our accommodation was one of 5 units gathered together at the edge the beach. Units ranged from a penthouse to a small 1 bedroom underneath the pool! Clever - and very nicely done - everyone has privacy and the units are all within a gated fence. Very pleasant staff, garden and pool well maintained, beach gear brand new. Most of our fellow guests have been here before. Look forward to our repeat.

Beautiful location

You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful, relaxing place to stay! We were greeted with a tray of fresh fruit in our unit. We walked the beach everyday, watched the sunsets from our deck and fell asleep to the sound of the waves💜

Our Trip to Mexico

My wife and I were at this property for 3 weeks in January 2024. We were looking for a low-key escape after a hectic Christmas and this was perfect. The accommodations were beautiful and right on a magnificent beach. The location was a 20 minute walk into either Rincon de Guayabitos or into La Penita. There were only 5 units in the complex and staff were on site. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. The hosts were very responsive to any of our pre-visit and in-visit questions. Overall, a great vacation in a beautiful spot. We recommend this property highly and we will return.

I also selfishly wish to keep this place a secret. It is not modern but beautiful designed in traditional Mexican style. It is exactly has portrayed. We had everything we wanted and needed. the pool area as you can see is small, but we didn't book a beach vacation to spend it at the pool. This unit is HUGE. Big kitchen, dining room and living room with a powder room downstairs and then a huge bedroom and ensuite upstairs. If you have difficulty with stairs, then this unit is not for you. I liked the extra exercise. There was a grill on the lower deck which is such a lovely place to have a meal as it looks out onto the garden. We would have our morning coffee on the lounge chairs on the big upper deck because there is an ocean view there. Everything is well supplied. Staff are absolutely lovely. The property manager responded quickly to our inquiries. Very well located. You could walk into La Penita or Guayabitos. We only took a cab coming and going home and one time after dinner. We were here 2 weeks and we didn't want to leave. The only one improvement that could be made would be to have real black out curtains in the bedroom. It wasn't a problem as we always have our eye masks. It is Mexico and so you can get loud partying that goes late, but AC/Fan and ear plugs fixed that issue. We hope to return. The beach walks are epic and the sunset colors spectacular.

Very pretty

Lovely place, one of the nicest on the beach and far enough away from the busy area of the beach which is about a 10 minute walk to the left when you walk out the back. There are people around as there are 6 units in total, so you are not totally alone, but there was never any issue with too many people or excessive noise. The workers are there during the week so there is some talking and working, and the manager lives on site. Clean and safe and the pictures are accurate.

Honeymoon

we stayed at this amazing property for our honeymoon. Delores was very helpful at check in, all the staff asked, "do you need anything?" They left a bag of coffee in our room that they roasted on site! Left us a fruit basket! The kitchen had everything we needed! I loved that the appliances were clean and covered in plastic bags so you knew they had been cleaned. The bathroom had toiletries-some VRBO leave you nothing so this was a really nice touch! It is a great location on the beach, quiet and private yet only a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars. Exactly what a VRBO should be! We highly recommend! Donna and Phil

A fabulous find!

What a beautiful find. We love this area given the closeness to La Peñita and the quiet beach, and this particular property is fantastic. It is really well cared for and Delores and her excellent staff are really wonderful. There are 5 rental units, and most have long term snowbirds, all very lovely. It's quiet but there are always staff around tidying and fixing. Everyone has private space and people sort of take turns with the pool area with their routines. Note, this unit does have stairs if that's a problem for you (also means additional outdoor space!) The kitchen was very well equipped and if you need anything , Delores is very helpful and nice. There are all the things you need to enjoy the beach! Overall a very nice safe, friendly place to stay, we will be back!
