Birches Lodge is an Adirondack Style Lodge situated on beautiful Mirror Lake. A 5 minute walk has you enjoying Main Street in Lake Placid with shops, restaurants and beautiful scenery.

Birches Lodge amenities include fully stocked kitchen, formal dining room, fireplace in the great room as well a paddle board and canoe to explore the lake. Enjoy the lake from the dock for swimming and boating, the hot tub on the deck or ice skating in the winter.

Birches Lodge is close to all the attractions of the Olympic Region, including the Olympic Jumping Center, Mt. Von Hoevenberg Bobsled/Skeleton and Luge tracks, Whiteface and Gore Mountain Ski Areas.

This is a wonderful house in a super spot. The view of mirror lake each morning and watching the fog roll off the lake is amazing. The hot tub, the dock, the location, all make this such a great vacation spot. We also appreciate how clean the house is. This was our 5th visit, and hoping to come back again next year

An excellent family stay

We lucked out and had beautiful weather while staying at a beautiful and comfortable residence! The hot tub was a lot of fun and the kids loved the two visiting ducks. We loved our stay there. It was great to be with family all in one place.

Great location!

Our family of 5 adults and 3 children had a wonderful week exploring the area. We enjoyed the lake, outdoor fireplace, hiking and the Olympic Center. The house had everything we needed, and plenty of room for all. Highly recommend staying here!

This is our 2nd year in a row staying at Barb’s place and it was just as great of a stay as last year. The access to the lake and proximity to town and attractions can’t be beat. We’ve already booked the trip again for next year.

Beautiful house

A great house in a wonderful location. So nice to sit on the dock and enjoy the view of mirror lake. We’ve stayed here a few times and each time it’s been wonderful. Lots of space, and a great hot tub too!

Home was perfect! Beautifully decorated, inviting and relaxing. Location is great, easy walk to restaurants and shopping. There were 11 of us and the home never felt crowded. The lake view is spectacular. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Family weekend

We had a wonderful time at Barbara's home. The location was perfect with a short walk to town. The house was very roomy and fit our family of 9 plus two babies with room to spare. We would love to return again next year for our pre holiday family gathering.

Amazing property and wonderful host!

The house was extremely clean, well decorated and was more than enough space for our family of seven. The yard was very well kept and we enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor fireplace. We will definitely be back. Barbara is a wonderful host.

30th Birthday Trip

Lake Placid is my favorite vacation destination and Birches Lodge was the perfect spot to share this area with friends. Well stocked kitchen, great layout, close to town, can't really think of anything that could be improved. Barb was very responsive to questions we had throughout our stay. Would 100% stay here again!
