Alpine Woods cabin close to trails, ski in/out

With a long driveway set back in the woods, the cabin has a very private feel. Located in the small subdivision known as Liberty Woodlands, it's within walking distance to the Methow Valley Community Trail (MCT) along the river and suspension bridge or choose the best trails for you within a short drive. A new ski trail (Devin's Trail) within the Methow Valley Trail system makes the property a ski in, ski out cabin. 2 bedrooms (with luxury, queen American Leather Comfort Sleeper sofa) and 2 full baths, the home features an open floor plan with high ceilings and a large kitchen and island that is great for gatherings. Other features include a river-rock gas fireplace, knotty pine paneling, large wood windows, WiFi, home entertainment system and separate laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Community maintained and plowed flat roads make for easy access to the cabin, especially in winter. Close to Methow River and the Methow Valley Trail system that runs along it, this home is the perfect launching point for all the fun outdoor activities the area has to offer. The cabin is located 3 miles from the Mazama store and 11 miles to downtown Winthrop.

Charming cabin in the woods that was well kept and updated. The towels were thick, bathroom roomy and clean. Washer and dryer were an added convenience. It was close to Winthrop, Twisp, Sun Mountain Lodge. Highly recommend this cabin.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was so cozy and comfortable, and having two bathrooms was a huge bonus when traveling with my best friend—it was so nice for each of us to have our own space.The location was fantastic. We were only about two miles from Mazama and roughly 15 minutes from the shops and restaurants in Winthrop, so we had easy access to everything we needed while still getting that peaceful mountain-cabin experience.There is definitely still some driving involved when exploring the west side of North Cascades National Park, but we felt this was absolutely one of the best locations to stay for easy access to some of the main hikes and sights. Blue Lake, Rainy Lake, Diablo Lake, Washington Pass, and the surrounding area were all very convenient from here.After full days of hiking and exploring, we loved coming back to such a cozy cabin. Great location, comfortable accommodations, and a wonderful home base for experiencing North Cascades. We would definitely stay here again!

The cabin was perfect. it was impeccably clean and maintained. The location is very good, close to Mazama. The kitchen was very well equipped. The fireplace was wonderful. We liked it so much that we immediately reserved again for next year.

Our recent stay was exactly what we needed it to be. Quiet, cozy and convenient to trailheads, grocery stores and restaurants. Easy and prompt communication with the host about one issue. Expressed real urgency to help us resolve it. Well stocked kitchen made it easy to do majority of cooking "at home". Appreciate staying in a place that really is dog friendly. Love the area!!
