Vacation on the Lake

Cozy cabin on the best fishing hole on a beautiful mountain lake. Cabin has three bedrooms and a loft, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen, and all the usual amenities (cable tv, wireless internet, outdoor grill, washer/ dryer, etc). The second story deck looks out over the lake and our private dock. Just minutes from historic Truckee in the beautiful Sierra Mountains. Enjoy fishing, swimming, boating, biking, and hiking just by stepping out the door.

Kids loved sleeping in the loft area, kitchen well stocked, amazing deck(s) and dock along with everything you need to enjoy your time on the lake (paddleboards, kayaks, canoe, life jackets, etc.). It was a wonderful experience. We all had a great time and liked the cabin. There was ample space for six adults; we didn't need or use the loft which would be great for children.

Our family of six had an amazing stay at this beautiful lakefront property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the home. The breathtaking lake views were a highlight, and the private dock provided an ideal spot for both sunrise and sunset watching.We loved being able to access the water easily with our kayaks and paddle boards throughout the day. The lower deck was a fantastic addition, offering shade in the afternoons and turning into a perfect napping spot!The property came equipped with everything we needed for a fun-filled lake experience, including plenty of fishing gear, floaties, paddles, a double kayak, and a canoe. We truly had everything we could ask for and can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway! Highly recommend this place for families looking to enjoy the great outdoors!

Best fishing

We have stayed here a few times now, we love the peace and solitude. Sitting on the deck looking at the lake with my coffee is my favorite while my husband takes his coffee to the private pier to fish. The house is always perfect and has everything to meet our needs.

Fantastic lake weekend

We were in Truckee for the state tennis tournament and could not have asked for a better place to stay for the weekend. There was enough beds for the entire family and everything was clean and tidy. The boys loved attempting to fish. Although we weren’t very lucky in that department. We would love to come back to this same cabin again.

Another wonderful stay

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The first time was 5 years ago, and the property is still just as nice. You can't beat the location being right on the lake with private dock and beautiful view. The woodwork inside the cabin is beautiful, and the cabin is very spacious and clean.

The cabin has been owned by our family since it was built for my parents. When we inherited it we made many updates including new kitchen and bathrooms, new paneling, windows, and more. Yet it remains a family cabin, with the best fishing on the lake!
