Big in town,noisy,I just picked the wrong location for our family vacation,the house is beautiful,guests should be aware that there are lots of stairs,it seems what you need is at least one or even 2 floors away.

Glad to hear you describe our home as beautiful - as it really is! You stayed over the Fourth of July weekend, which is the absolute busiest day of the year and our home is fortunate enough to have a front row seat to it all - right on the beach where the fireworks happen as well as right around the corner from Stanley Johnson Park w/ the art festival. This is considered to be the absolute best & prime location in all of South Haven. Over 70,000 people came for the fireworks this year & since our home is right on the beach, of course it was busy! I encourage everyone to read the dozens of other reviews which provide a more complete description of the home and location.

Was a nice place to stay.There was an old abandoned van with a flat tire in the parking lot next to the condo..Owner aware city said it was parked in public parking and was aloud to be there.Spoke to Security parking attendant. Same as stated.This is a city problem not the owners.Otherwise it was very nice.Thank you.

Amazing location. House was great - plenty of bedrooms but also lots of areas to hang out which allows space. Homeowner was very easy to reach and checked in frequently to make sure we were. Enjoying our stay. Highly recommend.

Not directly on beach but just a short walk down the road. The house has several floors, great for multi-generational families. Lots of stairs, so if you have small children or elderly people this might be an issue. Definitely if you have small children you will need gates. For us, we had six adults and the house was perfect. We each had our own bedroom and there was plenty of space to relax. The kitchen is very nice with plenty of area to cook.

Fantastic beach house with all the amenities!

Was in town for our daughter's wedding - stayed just over a week and wish we could go back. Property is well appointed, great bedding and fantastic location. Everything you could want (except a large grocery stare) is well within walking distance and with great views. We had all of the bridesmaids staying as well and was thankful for all of the sleeping accommodations, large living area and plentiful beach chairs and umbrellas. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book this property again - and as a bonus, up to two dogs are allowed to stay for a small additional fee - so you can bring the whole family!

Beautiful place just steps from the beach

Our family of 15 (3 generations, age ranges from 6-64 years) stayed here for a long weekend. We had the best time and wished we could have stayed longer. The house has 4 levels, 3 balconies, a fire pit, and tons of areas to chill together or separate. The pool table and ping pong table were a big hit with the kids and grandparents! Bunde bakery next door had delicious food and coffee. We spent most of our time at the beach, and there were thunderstorms at night and even that was beautiful with all the windows! We hope to come back soon!

Wonderful week in South Haven!

We had a wonderful time at Julia's place in South Haven! The condo was beautiful, and having the beach right there, was perfect for us! My only advice, for those planning a trip during COVID times, getting take out food is very difficult in South Haven. We were a party of seven, and most restaurants in the area were overwhelmed with large parties & to go orders, that we struggled to find dinner some nights. We should have just cooked in, and utilized the beautiful kitchen & BBQ pit that Julia has!!!

Not quite as close to North Beach as I expected but still pretty close. Woodman Beach is a few hundred feet down from the house. We had previously stayed at a place where you had to get into the car and this was much more convenient. We could take the grandkids down to the beach for a short time without all the travel time. We had some cooler weather with some rain so it was nice to be able to have the space to spread out. The pool table was a big hit with the older kids and so was the ping pong table. Host was great in communication. Kitchen was well equipped and fridge was large. Saw a second fridge in the garage/game room which was not turned on but we never needed it despite dining in most nights (just easier multiple small kids).

Perfect family vaccination

The home was beautiful and functional - the 5 teenagers stayed in the basement which was the perfect amount of privacy for them. South haven is a safe town - the teens can spend the day bike riding or in town on their own. Then the whole family can enjoy the beach which is literally right out the door! Running back to the house so the younger kids could have quiet time or lunch was simple. There are lots of lovely places in the house to sit and read - and multiple balconies to enjoy. As long as everyone in the group can climb stairs this is perfect vacation home. Loved the private yard space too.

Let Your Cares Wash Way In South Haven

This property was excellent. We came with 11 people across three (3) different families and there was plenty of room for everyone. The four (4) total floors allows folks a lot of room to hang out together but also retreat to a quiet spot when you need to. The location and proximity to the beach could not have been better. Also, having the chairs and boogie boards already there was so convenient. Plenty of outdoor space. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We had a mix-up with the lock on the first day and she answered our call right away and got us sorted out. We will definitely try and book this house again!
