Well protected in the marina and yet right next to beach, waterfowl and the nautical life. Come to relax, come to celebrate, bring your kids or getaway for a romantic celebration. Only 20 minutes to Annapolis, 50 minutes to Chestertown, 45 minutes to Easton, St. Micheals and Oxford. With a full galley that any chef would be pleased with, you can cook up a feast or throw an intimate party. Some even come for work. The wifi signal is fast enough to stream your favorite shows and games or a work video call. Come restore your peace, restore your balance you won’t be sorry.

This was a terrific experience. The house boat was extremely clean and well taken care of. The host was proactive with terrific communication. She was upfront with the care and expectations of the stay. It was well stocked, perfect for cooking and enjoying the views from the boat. We are already looking at the available dates to return.

Julia was fantastic! We came with 6 ladies for a surprise bachelorette weekend. She even gave us recommendations for super fun local venues and restaurants accounting for what was closed in the ‘off-season’. I don’t think there can be an off-season here. Everyone was so friendly and helpful with getting us the easiest access. Super nice neighbors and laborers working on the nearby boats. Also, the bathroom is even better- pocket doors between the shower and commode with a sink in each. Pictures don’t do it justice!Thank you for an amazing stay, Julia!

We had the best time staying on this houseboat! It was the perfect spot for our girls trip — clean, spacious, and stocked with everything we needed. The amenities were fantastic, and the location couldn’t have been better — close to everything but still peaceful and relaxing on the water. The grill wasnt as close as we hoped for the weather. The host was great and made everything easy from start to finish. We’d absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay on the houseboat. We had privacy but were also close to the Kentmorr Restaurant and Bar and had drinks there on night. Plenty of space for the two of us. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was well equipped. We also had drinks on the rooftop both nights which was nice.

I really enjoyed my stay. It's obvious Julia thought about all the little things when stocking the boat. Everything is very clean and modern. The sunroom was great to watch the marinas working boats come and go with fisherman and day sailers as well as observing the sea birds and ducks hanging out by the boats.

We stayed with our two teens for something different and a break between sightseeing in DC and NY. The two vanity areas and divided bathroom (sliding door between toilet and shower, each with a sink) were helpful for a family of four. The host was very helpful. Fun stay!

Unique accommodations

Staying at sea without ever leaving the marina. This special getaway had everything we needed for the weekend and afforded us an unexpectedly relaxing stay. Julia's Arc is surprisingly spacious and cozy and was a pleasant place for us to hang out in for our weekend on Kent Island. Looking forward to a future stay when we're in the area.

I am a Covid 19 retired Pediatric ER physician living my second career. I love the water and have spent many miles sailing in the Bay and all over the world. My daughter and grandsons live in Easton, MD. I am trying to leave them with at least a little legacy and not burden them in my old age. So I am creating equity by renting out my home and this vacation home when I’m not there. I have to admit it was a fun creative project to renovate this boat and I love sharing it with my guests.

Why they chose this property

This houseboat is a place to just sit back and relax and let the marine life come to you. It is also close to Annapolis, MD and all it has to offer.

What makes this property unique

It has been decorated to reflect the uniqueness of the Mid and Eastern Shore of Maryland. I like to call it Nautical Farmhouse. The marina has many fishing charter boats and a water front restaurant. It also has its own private beach.
