• It’s a 5 minute walk in your flip-flops down a low traffic side street (along the ocean) to the village where you will enjoy shopping, dining, nightlife, and other attractions in historic Kailua Village. Walking is better than being caught in downtown traffic, while searching for an elusive parking spot.
• It’s only a few steps to the romantic Honl's Beach; offering snorkeling on calm days, sandy area for kids and sunning, and a hugely popular surf spot when the waves are up.

We had the absolute best time at this condo at the Kona Reef. We were in town for our dear friends’ wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better unit. The furniture and decor were awesome. This condo is the best place to stay in Kona, the view is amazing with waves literally crashing at your feet!! The unit itself has everything you need to be comfortable; a super comfy king bed, a quirky bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities which were so nice to have, a comfortable living space and a lanai with a fabulous view. We never closed the lanai door, the sound of the surf was fantastic!Annie and Bill, the owners are so nice! We had coffee pot troubles and in no time, we had a new one and they brought a telescope over so we could see far out to sea.The pool, hot tub, and BBQ areas are clean with plenty of lounge chairs and tables. The pool is so refreshing from the Kona heat!We walked to the Royal Kona for the luau, that was really fun, and we highly recommend. We also walked to Huggos and Papa Kona's to eat and shopping which was so nice because there is NO parking in downtown Kona.We will absolutely stay at this property again, or perhaps Bill and Annie's other unit A34!! If you are looking for a place to stay in Kona, you just found it!!!

Host was a lovely person who was eager to be helpful. Apartment was very small with huge furniture. Little to no closet space, master bedroom bed was too talk to feel comfortable. No place to put luggage other than the living room. Only one beach towel, no welcome kit. 3 garbage bags for an 8 day stay, no bath products. This unit has an awesome lanai and wonderful potential, but in its current state I wouldn’t rent it again.

Your points are well taken. We always provide starter kit & have at least a few beach towels in the unit. My managing agent will find out from the cleaning crew why this was not in your case. We would have been more than happy to bring them to you if we had known to ensure your comfort. Our inspection team should have double checked to ensure the supplies were all there prior to your arrival. We apologize and will do better. The small bedroom is a fact at every Kona Reef one bedroom unit. Some owners opted for queen beds to allow more room for luggage. We have a cal king as we believe guests prefer the comfort of the largest bed. The thick quality Sealy mattress & a mattress pad for extra comfort are likely added to its height. Kona Reef is on prime real estates in the beautiful resort town of Kona where space is at a premium. In return, it offers unparalleled ocean front view (less than 25 ft. from the ocean) away from the hustle & bustle, yet has the unbeatable convenience of easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, tourist attractions & nightlife, etc. Other condo complexes might afford larger units but most require long commute time to Kona town in heavy traffic and none have the jaw dropping unobstructed ocean front view that Kona Reef can offer. Therefore, Kona Reef direct ocean front units, especially the few on the top floor such as mine, remain the most sort after. Annie's jewelry collection was chosen to be featured in InStyle Magazine (A Special Issue For The Bride! The Spring 2004 Edition) and in the 2008 movie 'The Code' starring Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas and Radha Mitchell.

She has a long list of loyal repeat customers, many of whom are brides-to-be searching for the perfect jewelry to wear with their beautiful wedding gowns!

Annie also owns a successful vintage jewelry online store that sells beautiful jewelry worldwide. Her designer's eye for beauty has shone through the beautiful decor of her Kona Reef Suite D32.

Aside from designing jewelry and running her jewelry business, saving animals is also her passion.

Annie was born and raised in Hong Kong, educated in England and has been living in Kona of the Big Island, Hawaii, for over 25 years. She travels frequently for business as well as pleasure and appreciates the importance of a fine place to stay while away from home.
