York, Maine — Welcome to The Sea Rose Condo, a warm and welcoming first-floor, three-bedroom retreat just steps from the sandy shores of Long Sands Beach. Open the French doors in the living room and breathe in the salty ocean air — you can hear the waves crashing as you settle into the perfect Maine beach getaway. In under five minutes, your toes will be in the sand.

Nestled on Sea Rose Lane, a quiet and charming street tucked just across from the Long Sands bathhouse, this condo offers a prime location for families. Park the car, slip on your flip-flops, and enjoy carefree days at the beach. Everything York has to offer is within walking distance — from local cafés to ice cream shops, and fresh seafood right along Long Beach Ave.

The Oceanside General Store is just a two-minute stroll away, while Short Sands Beach and its quaint village — with restaurants, shops, and York’s Wild Kingdom — are only one mile down the road. Ogunquit, Kittery, Kennebunkport, and Portland are all short scenic drives away, making day trips easy and enjoyable. Take a walk along Ogunquit’s beautiful Marginal Way, or book a lobster boat tour in Perkins Cove for a true Maine experience.

Great beach access

Spent a three day rainy cool weekend in York. Was happy to be so close to the beach to take advantage of walks between rain. The house was cozy and had space for us to play cards and relax when inside.

We had a wonderful time in the cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The ocean was across the street, and it was close to many great restaurants. I highly recommend York 54 for pizza type food if you want quick and easy takeout. It was probably the best pizza and beet salad we've had. Thank you for a great stay, The Congdon's

We loved our stay at the Sea Rose condo. It was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for our 10 days at the beach. Everything was clean and all that we needed was provided. We lucked out with the weather. Nearly every day was a beach day. Watching the surf school give lessons to young surfers was delightful. We will be back.

Hi Michele, We're pleased you liked the condo and we sure are glad your boyfriend is OK after his head broke the glass oven door! To address the fees- those are fees Vrbo charges to travelers. We charge an admin fee and a cleaning fee (standard). All travelers must pay lodging tax and Vrbo charged you an extra fee of $285.00. We do not see any percentage of that number. If you were to book direct with an agency , you would immediately save $285.00! The non- refundable damage protection of $59.00 you purchased through Vrbo, sure did come in handy with your booking! The cost to replace the stove was $687.84. Thanks for your feedback!

Our Stay

Hannah and Danielle were very hospitable to my family and I. I had my elderly parents stay. Location was relevant, the condo was old in need of bathroom renovation, parking was a challenge at times as neighbors were not welcoming. However, the professional promptness of Danielle and Hannah helped to resolve things quickly. In all place was convenient to the beach with high marks for location.

Me and my family absolutely loved this property!

I don't know where to start. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a wonderful gift basket on the table that really got the vacation started off on the right foot. The house was perfect for me and my family. The three bedrooms were not only bigger then some one the ones that I had stayed in before , but the beds were great to along long with the spacious closets. The bathroom was not only big, but had a washer and dryer with it which simplified our stay even more. This house is literally steps away from the beach. One of my favorite things about being set behind long sands road was there was hardly any traffic on our street, and we still got the beautiful smell of the ocean. To anyone looking to head to York for the first time or anyone who is interested in changing it up and trying a new place I highly recommend this place. One of my other favorite things about this property was talking with Daniele and Hannah who at anytime were available to talk or offer assistance in anyway. This was truly a wonderful experience my family and I will never forget. Thank you for having us guys!
