The bedroom has a queen sized bed and an adjacent outdoor deck for fresh mountain air! Your stay includes a kitchen with supplies, a full bathroom, a spacious dining room which opens into the living room. The remote employee can enjoy the office complete with high speed wi-fi access. An additional queen sleeper sofa resides in the living room. You also have an on site laundry room. Street parking is available with attention to the street sign regulations. Luckily, you have a reserved parking spot on the premises! The building may be accessed through your own front or rear entrances. Take a short walk or drive to the Hudson Riverfront to dine or explore nearby towns for museums, State parks, outlet shopping, antiquing, and so much more the Hudson Valley has to offer ...... or stay in and enjoy the quiet and quaint backyard. Overall, we had a good stay. Communication was great and check-in / check-out was very easy. Though we found the listing to be accurate and the room looked like the photos, there are a few things we found to be a bit below our expectations. First, the neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges. The house itself and the ones next door seem to be well-maintained and as you travel up the street to the north it's a nice residential area, but if you approach the house from the south or from the west, the neighborhood is very rough. Note that we never felt unsafe, but first impressions were a bit uneasy. Second, the floors are very creaky and if you have anyone in the apartment above you, you will definitely hear them walking around and dropping things. Our upstairs neighbor went to bed later than we did so going to sleep was a challenge each night. Third, while having a laundry available was a big help and appreciated, it should be noted that it's not inside the unit, but rather through a different door next to the parking lot.We should also note the plusses. Again, having laundry available was import to us and appreciated. Having air conditioning, also a necessity and it worked well. We didn't use the kitchen very much, but it seemed to have everything that you would need. And the biggest thing we appreciated was the supply of bottled water that was in the fridge!
