Greenwood Manor

This house worked fabulously for three families with teens. There was plenty of space for two different group activities, as well as cooking and sharing large group meals. The views are gorgeous. In snowy conditions, the road up and driveway may be challenging without good tires and/or 4wd.

Beautiful Home, Views and Accommodating Host

The pictures on the listing do not do the property justice. It is a beautiful, spacious home at the very end of a road at the top of a hill with 180 views of the western mountains and two bodies of water. The home had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with all the tools we needed to make several large meals which we especially appreciated. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We only stayed a couple of nights this time due to complicated family travel schedules but are hoping to arrange a longer stay next summer. I highly recommend this home!

3 Family snowmobile get away

We had 3 families of 4 (12 people total) for a long weekend rent this house. The place was gorgeous, had everything we needed, and the views topped it off. The property owner was very accommodating. Everyone loved the home and we are greatful for the memories that came from this beautiful house on the hill. We all said we'd definately go back if the cards play out right in the future.

AMAZING Location & Great House!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this property! The house was perfect for our multi age family. Everyone had their own space, there was everything a person could need and Kevin the owner was easily accessibly and helpful in every way. Each room was spacious, the downstairs area was perfect for the kids to play and the adults were able to relax in the open upstairs and enjoy the stunning views. We even got to see Mt Abram ski resort making snow one night! We were looking for a location we could relax, do a little skiing and sledding, and spend some quality time together. It was perfect! Would highly recommend this property!

Long weekend with friends

We had a great time at the house! We had 6 adults and 5 kids (ages 4-10), and everybody had fun enjoying the view, yard, and house. The beds were comfy, rooms were all large, and the kitchen well stocked with equipment and spices etc. We drove down to the lake access for the kids to take a swim (it is not possible to walk down as far as we could see). The view is every bit as beautiful as the photos suggest - and we even saw a bald eagle flying over the yard!

Perfect Maine getaway!

The house is maybe even better than it looks in the pictures, and the pictures definitely don't do justice to the view! The property sits on the top of a hill, overlooking two large ponds. The private boat access was a short drive away, and a small public beach is even closer located just at the bottom of the hill. As for the house itself, it is fully stocked, clean and up to date, with plenty of private bedrooms for a larger group. The shared spaces are open concept, with lots of picture windows so you never forget where you are! We loved it and would be very happy to stay here again, for longer next time hopefully.

Beautiful house and amazing views!

Kevin's house is a perfect getaway for a large family or group of friends. The house is very spacious and has plenty of beds. It has everything a guest would ever need to be comfortable. Our group really enjoyed playing lawn games in the yard and sitting around the fire at night. We were able to stay entertained by throwing darts and playing foozeball in the basement during a rain shower. I certainly would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet, private place to stay with a priceless view!

Fabulous view, in a very comfortable and well maintained house

This is a great house with a view that can't be beat! Kevin was very helpful and accommodating to ensure his house would have everything we would need. This house comfortably accommodated 10 adults, with rooms to spare. We all loved mornings and evenings on the large deck, watching the sun rise and set over the surrounding mountains. The house is conveniently located near Bethel, and was a great place to base our weekend of bicycling in the area. Our entire experience with Kevin and this house was excellent, and made for a fabulous time away. I highly recommend it!

Spectacular view and property

This is one of the best places I have stayed. Seven of us had a meeting at the home and had everything we needed. Even if we had shown up and there were a couple of tents set up the view was so incredible it would have been worth the stay. Kevin was very helpful and easy to work with. If you have the opportunity you should stay at this home
