Private and Secluded Lake Glenville Waterfront Luxury Home

Our lakefront mountain home is the perfect family vacation destination or for a weekend getaway with friends. Ideally situated on almost two acres of gently sloping land on Lake Glenville near the mountain resort villages of Cashiers and Highlands. Surrounded by the Smoky Mountains, Lake Glenville’s 26-mile shoreline meanders past forests, pastures, waterfalls and world-class golf courses. Warm days and cool nights are almost assured on this high-elevation mountain lake.

The Lakehouse’s 200+ feet of shoreline, provides ample space to enjoy swimming, use of our private boat dock (equipped with canoe and 4 kayaks) or relaxing on the sun terrace overlooking the lake.

The use of native materials and local craftsmanship throughout the 4,700 sq. ft. lake house makes it a true luxurious mountain lodge. Features include spectacular lake views, wrap-around porches with rocking chairs and outdoor grill, generous sitting and dining areas, quiet reading nooks, two massive stone fireplaces, antique heart-pine floors and a soaring, beamed ceiling in the main salon. Furnishings are a comfortable blend of antiques, rustic and overstuffed pieces. Modern conveniences include a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, king-sized beds, oversized tubs, fully equipped laundry room, DVD collection, gigabit speed wireless Internet access and unlimited nationwide long distance.

Katie Camp is a wonderful family home to enjoy Lake Glenville and is close to both Cashiers and Highlands. Our family has stayed in many homes on the lake and this is the best we have experienced. The home (including the kitchen) is very well appointed, The beds are quite comfortable and the living spaces are furnished to accommodate a larger group that a 5 bedroom house would tend to attract (this has not always been our experience). The dock is situated in a small cove that provides some buffer from waves and wakes on busy days on the lake. We have already booked our vacation for summer 2027.

Wonderful Experience

We had a wonderful time at Camp Katie! It was the perfect lake experience…gentle slope down to the lake and well stocked with kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and fishing rods. Would definitely stay again.

We’ve stayed before and had a wonderful time then. Even better the second time with the updates made to the home. We had a Wi-Fi outage from Wednesday until we left Saturday, but that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Coffee on the porch, swimming and other fun stuff on the lake, fire down by the water in the evening, star gazing, everything we wanted and more. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great vacation. I wish we could just live here!

Wonderful Family Lakehouse

Home was clean, comfortable and exactly as shown in photos. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the home and area for our Thanksgiving gathering. Views of the lake are spectacular even in late Fall. Would highly recommend and visit again!! Thank you for opening your home away from home!!

Wonderful Vacation at KatieCamp

Our family likes to travel and explore, snow ski and enjoy eachothers company. Our favorite pastime together is playing cards. I am an avid reader and enjoy mystery books, books on spirituality, biographies and history. Since we have been in the hospitality industry for 35 years and property management we work to maintain our home to be comfortable and inviting for our guests. We want your experience to be fun, memorable and relaxing.
