What a wonderful stay! Our family of 4 was very comfortable and felt right at home at this beautiful house. We truly enjoyed the gorgeous views of the mountains and lake and even saw the Milky Way on a super clear night! The location was great with most things 30 mins away including downtown areas, hiking and necessities. The house was thoughtful appointed with all the things needed and more, including ice packs for packed lunches. My boys loved the arcade and foosball and we all enjoyed the many games on the rainy day we had. Would definitely stay again!

The entire experience was smooth and easy. Kitchen was great with everything you would want for cooking. The view from the deck was so relaxing. The 85" TV and chairs for watching was totally awesome. We were there for 31 days and never had any issues except for when a thunderstorm knocked out the power. The host got an auto message from Duke Power and relayed it to us within 15 minutes. That was one example of the great communication we had with the host. Lastly, all the creature comforts of home were there to make our long stay very enjoyable and memorable.

Probably the best cabin/home our family has ever stayed at. Kelly was fantastic and went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful and had everything you could wish for in a home away from home. Kelly went above and beyond to make sure we had every amenity you could ask for and need. Would recommend this place to everyone and we will definitely be staying here again.

Our family had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The location was perfect for us! The lake and mountain views were amazing. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the lovely wedding venue nearby. We made some great memories during our annual weekend to get our Christmas trees.

Everything was wonderful and as it was listed online! Kelly is a 5 star host! The house is peaceful with beautiful views. The kitchen is amazing and the open floorplan makes it easy to socialize and enjoy time with each other. Would definitely return!

I can’t imagine a better home base for our long weekend getaway with friends! We spent a lot of time on the spacious deck, admiring the unbeatable view of the lake. The cabin is outfitted beyond belief. So much has gone into anticipating your every need. Thoughtful touches include bathroom nightlights on a timer, ample power outlets close to the bed, the most comfortable reclining sofa chairs ever, comfy throw blankets, and a welcoming bottle of bubbly! The location was great - we were able to go hiking, boating on the lake, and visit Highlands, Cashiers, and Sapphire easily. No need to look further - this place has it all!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning view – it’s even more breathtaking in person than in the photos. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or winding down in the evening, the scenery made every moment feel special.The home itself is just as impressive: spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated. You can tell the owners really care about creating a welcoming, comfortable space. One of our favorite features was the kitchen – it was incredibly well stocked with everything we needed (and more!), which made cooking and dining in a real pleasure.Communication with the owner was also top-notch. They were warm, responsive, and proactive throughout the entire process, which made our stay feel completely stress-free.We truly didn’t want to leave, and we’re already looking forward to booking another stay. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing, beautiful getaway!

This place was SO CLEAN and probably one of the best stocked of any VRBO I've stayed at. The kitchen was so well organized and had everything we could have possibly needed. The back porch with the gas fire pit was our favorite part of the house. Sitting back there, you feel like you're in a treehouse in the middle of the rainforest and it doesn't feel like there are even any neighbors. Kelly (the host) was SO GREAT at communicating (better than me!) -she provided me with many activity suggestions well in advance of our trip and had a binder at the house with even more suggestions once we got there. Happs was a great fun family environment and the pizza was delish. We took advantage of their FREE trolly tour to see the dam release. Biltmore house is about an hour and a half away, but well worth it (especially for their new Luminere event). If you want to rent a boat at the marina, you better schedule that several months out as it was completely booked for the whole month of July. Luckily we enjoyed the use of the kayaks provided! Oh and the raft and rail tour in Bryson City was awesome! Book this home now!!!
