All around great stay and fantastic location. House was exactly as-listed with tons of amenities (beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, to name a few). Had a little issue with the thermostat upstairs and it was remedied promptly by a friendly and efficient maintenance team. Would absolutely recommend SeaQuinn for a trip to this area.

House OK, but over-crowded beach

Was just OK. Nothing special. Basic amenities. Outdoor grill was gross so we didn’t get to use it. The house is much smaller than pictured. Like the neighborhood, it’s very compact. The master suite is very small and compact. The double doors to the top floor outdoor area are broken and do not secure. The homes are practically built on top of one another. The private beach is tiny and people are packed in like sardines. We decided to go to the public beaches where it’s nice and wide open. Pros: Great AC and ceiling fans, plenty of bath towels, beach chairs and beach towels. Beds were comfy, easy walk to the pool. We rented bikes and had fun with those. The tram was nice and responsive. Easy access to Publix grocery store. Nice kitchen. Had great weather. Thanks so much.

NO ROOM AT THE BEACH

The house was great but do not book if you want to go to the beach. They pack all the people into a tiny beach location (roughly 100 yards) where you can hardly see the water. If you want to rent the commercial umbrellas they have (which take up all the spaces on the beach), be prepared to pay over $100 a day- that is if they are even available. They were unavailable for us. There are miles of private beach you can’t use, but can look at as you are wedged next to your unsuspecting neighbor. If you want to stay here, be prepared to drive to a public beach. It’s the only way to get what you’ve paid for. Good luck

Thanks for sharing your experience and welcome to 30A! It’s a wildly popular spot (for good reason), and sometimes that means the beach can feel a little cozy, especially during the busy season. We get that it’s not for everyone, but the views are still hard to beat! While beach chair rentals can be pricey and those private beaches can seem a bit off-limits, there are definitely some great public beach options nearby with more room to spread out. Next time, we’d be happy to point you in the direction of a stretch that’s more your style. If you decide to give the area another shot, we’d love to help you find the perfect setup to make your beach time just right.
