This house works well for large groups. The bathroom configuration is challenging, with one full upstairs off the bunk room and one full downstairs off the kitchen. The home could stand to be updated with stained and worn carpeting, but if you just need a place to gather before/after skiing, this works. Living room area was the best part of the home and the handmade table was absolutely beautiful. Approximately 20-30 minute walk to Main Street,

Amazing Location & Great Kitchen!

Our Nordic Team had an amazing stay and the host was super responsive to our questions. We loved the kitchen and room arrangements, and the location was a brisk walk from town. We'd stay there again! Many thanks!

We had a great stay here with our group of ten, including six kids. The bunk room worked perfectly for the younger ones, and the large dining table made group meals easy and enjoyable. The location put us just a short walk from the Olympic oval and an easy stroll into town, yet the neighborhood stayed quiet. We appreciated having plenty of parking, a big mudroom for all our ski gear, and the washer and dryer. The home was pet‑friendly, which made our trip simpler, and the hosts were consistently responsive and helpful. Overall, the space suited our group well and made for a comfortable trip to Lake Placid.

Great house to stay for a ski trip at whiteface

Very comfortable, clean and very spacious for our group of 9. Loved the huge table to accommodate everyone for a nice meal. I took the new bed so it was very comfortable. The mattresses in the bunk room could use an update. Bathrooms are updated and clean. Half hour drive to whiteface. 2 min drive to town. We really couldn't walk in the negative degree temperature. Otherwise I'm sure it would have been walkable. All in all my group loved the house.

The house was perfect for our large family. It was spacious and clean. We loved how close it was to everything. It didn’t take long to walk to Main Street or drive anyway. Melanie was a wonderful host! We had a little issue but she was right on it even with it being the holiday weekend. We would highly recommend this house to anyone!
