We loved staying in this sweet, rustic "cabin!" The 20 minute drive was beautifully scenic. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The bed was a bit more firm than we were used to, but would certainly not deter us from staying again!!

The Little Whiskey Retreat was very easy to access and the owners made sure to communicate to us everything we needed to know for our stay. It was very clean and the perfect spot to enjoy Labor Day Weekend.

We had an excellent week-long stay at Little Whiskey Retreat. It’s incredibly quiet and feels wonderfully remote, while still being close enough to Kerrville that getting into town is easy.The cabin was comfortable, well furnished, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having a full kitchen with full-size appliances, which made a longer stay much more convenient.The “silo” was one of our favorite features and a great place to spend the evenings. We were there during some 100-degree days, but once the sun started going down, a breeze would come through and the evenings became surprisingly pleasant and relaxing.It was exactly the kind of peaceful Hill Country getaway we were looking for. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would happily stay here again.

The house was extremely comfortable and spotless, was like nobody else had every stayed in it/ awesome location and the best and kindness host we have ever meet! Again i cant say enough about the house and property / it was just perfect !

Very nice!

We enjoyed the area and even though it was pretty remote we felt VERY safe and secure. The house was perfect for two people who needed separate rooms and it work so well for us.Thank you to our host for a much needed retreat!

Last minute booking. Was in the Kerrville area for work and no rooms were available. Booked with Cozy country retreat. Pricing was competitive with hotels and less than some. Beautiful location. Peaceful, clean and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay here again.

Peace and Quiet Goal Met

We had a wonderful day at the Little Whiskey Retreat. It exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The daily sunrises were the cherry on top.

Wonderful Secluded Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Little Whiskey. The property and grounds were spotless. No issues at all and the hosts were great. It’s the perfect layout too. We would recommend you staying here. We will definitely be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Little Whiskey Retreat. As a solo traveler I was very impressed that I had to go through two security gates to get to the house. I felt very safe. The house is beautiful, exactly as it’s described. My favorite thing was sitting on the porch swing enjoying the peacefulness of the Hill Country.
