Beautifully renovated farmhouse, circa 1878, furnished with antiques and period pieces. Three bedrooms, two full baths. All bedrooms have work areas and doors that can be closed for working from home. Great floor plan - modern kitchen opening out to large well-appointed dining room seating eight people comfortably. French doors open out to stone-walled garden. Comfortable living room with stone fireplace and Baldwin piano. Flat-screen TVs with cable in all bedrooms, kitchen and large flat-screen in living room. Central heat and air conditioning . Very well insulated,. Large wrap-around porch with charming antique wrought iron and wicker furniture, and deck off the master bedroom for viewing stars. On one acre of property. Up-to-date appliances in kitchen, gas grill outside kitchen door, and washer dryer. There is an automatic generator in the event of a power outage. Half-hour from Kingston, NY, twenty minutes from Woodstock. Ten minutes to Belleayre Ski Center.

The beautiful farmhouse was spacious but cozy. Marty's home was very clean and well appointed. There were plenty of room for a comfortable stay. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The home was close to Phoenicia Woodstock and Saugerties. Plenty of hiking and beautiful sites. We went to the Kaaterskill Falls. Marty was super helpful with recommendations and quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend and we would absolutely stay here again!

Comfortable home perfect for holiday getaway

We were looking for a place to bring our family together for Christmas and New Years that would feel like home, and Marty’s beautiful farmhouse fit the bill perfectly. Relaxing, Refreshing Scenic Vacation

This is my second time staying here and I will return. the first time my adult children and grandchildren stayed with us and this time it was me and my spouse. The house is everything as described and the location was perfect. The kitchen was recently updated with all new appliances and there are outdoor balconies and porches to enjoy the surroundings! Wonderful Farmhouse

We enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse for a ski trip during Presidents' Day week. The house is within 10 min drive from Belleayre and 30 min from Hunter. Everything is tastefully decorated and very homey. We cooked several meals. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, etc. for a big group. The host (Marty) was great and responded to all my inquiries promptly. Thanks Marty! We will be back!

A magical getaway

From the moment we stepped out of the car, we knew our stay here would be special. The house is just gorgeous -- filled with so many unique and charming decorative touches and warm and inviting. Even though it's right off the highway, we still felt very much like were tucked into a mountain retreat. There's something so peaceful and restorative in the air and the energy throughout the property felt good. Marty was wonderful -- easily reachable and happy to answer any questions we might have while providing helpful tips, like do no miss stargazing! :-) Our family had a wonderful, restful time here. We spent as much time lounging on the porch as we did wandering nearby towns and got in some hiking too!

Charming Cozy Farmhouse - Great location for skiing/hiking at Belleayre!

I just recently stayed at the Farmhouse with my family and we had a wonderful time! It was perfect for a ski weekend in the catskills! The house is very close to Belleayre mountain (10 mins) which offers great skiing and hiking! It's very close to a great grocery as well which has lots of organic produce and everything you need for a week/weekend away. Very spacious home with a beautiful fire place and LOTS of wood. We were two families staying at the farmhouse and loved the dining room with a large table for family dinners. There was lots of space for the 4 children to play as well as the cabin out back! We will definitely stay here again and I would absolutely recommend this house! Great place!
