A water lover's dream! Spectacular views of water on both sides of the condo! This condo is the ultimate family vacation spot! One of only a few units in Windjammer with two balconies, every bedroom opens to a balcony, one overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and another the Intracoastal Waterway, with each balcony having a table and four chairs.
Have breakfast on the Intracoastal Waterway balcony and watch the parade of yachts, sailboats, fishing boats and jet-skis. Or enjoy the view of the pool from your balcony as you sip cocktails and relish the spectacular sunset. Or stay in your pajamas and relax on your private, ocean-side balcony off the master bedroom. Swaying sea oats with butterflies, seabirds, turtles and rabbits will entertain you as you watch the waves of the ocean and are calmed by the peaceful sounds that only the ocean can provide.
With the white sands of Crescent Beach to lure you and the private Windjammer fishing dock, tennis courts and historic St. Augustine and its sites to attract you, it will be difficult to stay inside the condo! Beach week

It was great and enjoyable except that the pool was closed until Friday. I know this isn’t the condo owners fault, but I had family and friends also staying at the windjammer that got a 15% refund for the days the pool was closed as this was an inconvenience with two kids under 4. I would have hoped that ours would do the same. But it was otherwise very great and enjoyable.

We love Crescent Beach- been coming 35years. First time at Windjammer. Sink in guest bath drained extremely slow. Lots of loose floor tiles & not clean. We had dirty socks!Silverware in drawer had lots of sticky knives especially. When we went to run dishwasher when we left - pod still in it so not sure it ran properly before we got there- thus dirty silverware. We enjoyed our stay just next time won’t stay on first floor. We love seeing the beach.

3 Generation Family Vacay on the Beach

We had a great time! Great location! Spacious living areas!Well equipped Kitchen.Dated décor but appliances were great!Floors appeared clean but everyone's socks and feet turned BLACK! Rest of place was very clean.Shower door in hall bathroom did not stay closed, no magnet so floor was continually wet.It would be nice for families with children to have a booster seat, high chair for young children available.

Nice older property

The condo was nice but old appliances that didn't work well. No ocean view because of the over grown hedge in front Over all though we had a nice time. Fun restaurants and sight seeing in St Aiustine A

Beautiful place

Loved the facility and chance to see sunrise and sunset. Being this unit was first floor, could not see beach due to dunes but it was close! Loved also being able to see sunset on other side! Well equipped kitchen. We all had a wonderful week.

Easy walk to the beach

The property is big and kitchen is well stocked for preparing breakfast, lunch, etc. The door locks are a little difficult to get into. The lock should be replaced with a keypad to eliminate need for keys especially with a lock that doesn’t work properly.

Clean Condo and Beautiful Beach!

Our family stayed here with her two young children. The beach is perfect for skim boarding and relaxing in chairs. Perfect sand. The condo was very clean and looked exactly as pictured. The one difficulty was that the garbage disposal was broken and it took some time to have someone come out. The power in the entire facility went out as well which was not a huge deal, but I felt that communication about that could have been a little stronger. We would definitely stay here again! It was beautiful and we enjoyed our time!

Family beach trip

Arrived to a broken window, 2 broken door handles, and broken deadbolt. Had to vacuum up popcorn and food off of sofa and floor. Location was great and management responded immediately. Window was major repair and didn't happen. Family still enjoyed vacation.

Beautiful place!

My family and I came here for spring break and it was perfect for us. The condo was just as described. It is spacious, with a very well-stocked kitchen (we cooked in most nights). There's a balcony overlooking the intercoastal waterway, to enjoy the sunset, and a balcony facing the ocean, to enjoy the sunrise, if you're an early-bird. We spent time on the beach, at the pool, and fished off the dock. We went into St Augustine one day and took a trolley tour. Another day, we went to Marineland and swam with dolphins. The rest of the time, we just enjoyed being at the beach and in eachother's company. I highly recommend this property.

Tortoise sightings

The condo was clean and well-equipped, steps from the beach, with both sunrise and sunset views. The beach is wonderful and wide with sugar soft sand. The unit was quiet except for some daytime maintenance projects. We did encounter a few problems. The refrigerator’s bottom freezer has some issues, closing and opening and the carpet in the living area has curled edges and could be a serious problem if someone trips and falls against the coffee table. Some of the slider locks didn’t work. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these nuisance problems.

We stayed at this condo development last year for two weeks and it was great. Decided to visit again for a month this year and were extremely disappointed. The condo management and the rental agent had no idea what the other was doing. Day 1 we realized there was no longer access to the beach. The stairs at the end of the walkway had been washed away so rather than temporarily replacing them (apparently they are waiting for DNR approval to reconfigure them), the walk was nailed shut. Access to the beach was by walking to the development next door and going around their building to their walkway (really convenient with beach chairs, towels, books, drinks, toys AND 2 yr olds). Ok, at least there’s a pool - NOPE, day 3 the pool was drained for retiling and repainting - took 2-1/2 weeks. The exterior was being repainted the entire month we were there. Scaffolding, cherry pickers, etc. And then the drilling and hammering began. For 2 weeks we were awakened to the sound of jackhammers, drills and hammers - the garage was having New supports installed - this started between 7-8 am each morning. It was so loud you couldn’t turn up your tv loud enough to drown out the sound. So let’s see...no beach, pool or ability to spend a quiet morning in your own place. The condo management said they told the rental agency, the rental agency claimed they were never told....on and on...( the rental agency did refund 10% of our cost - not nearly enough but at least something). We love the St Augustine area but would never stay at this development again - there was no reason to have all of these projects going on at one time. If the condo associations purpose is to deter renters, they succeeded... The unit itself, while needing a seriously deep cleaning, was a great size and has beautiful balconies, one overlooking the ocean and one overlooking the Matanzas River. The actual owner is very nice also and was extremely apologetic about all of the issues.

Any miscommunication or misunderstandings on our end, we truly apologize and hope that you were able to still enjoy your time in St. Augustine and the amazing ocean views from the balcony. We understand your frustrations as this is not how anyone's vacation should be and we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to make things right for you. We know we may not be able to replenish lost time, but we were glad that a partial refund was able to take place. There is clearly something that we are missing as we strive to better the overall vacationing rental experience. We have urged the Condo Association to keep us informed and communicated the importance of transparency. Reevaluations of our current systems and processes are in place so guests are aware if issues such as this should arise again. Thank you for your patience and taking the time to share your concerns. We definitely acknowledge and sympathize with your discontentment and can only aspire to regain your trust and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Good first impression, Not so good lasting impression.

We had our whole family there, six adults and one infant. There was plenty of space for everyone, even in the family room, which was awesome. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is big and nice, and has plenty of utensils and dishware. However, there are no kitchen towels, so either bring a couple or buy a couple like we did. The overall first impression is that everything looks nice and the condo is clean. But then my granddaughter was crawling on the floor (which is tile throughout), and her knees and tops of feet were black with dirt. Makes you start looking more closely at how clean the place really is. It definitely needs a good deep cleaning. I wiped the floor in a couple of places with a wet paper towel and it was dirty. The backside of the curtains on the sliding glass door are stained, I'm guessing by maybe chocolate or blood, but it looks like someone was butchered. The showerhead in the main bath leaks and if you don't turn it just the right way it sprays the ceiling and all over the place. Also the hot water doesn't even last through one shower, much less through six. The ceiling fan in the main bedroom doesn't work because the chain is missing. There are absolutely no extras of anything: towels, no beach towels, no beach chairs, nothing that you would use at the beach or pool. It is obvious that this is a rental only and that the owners don't actually ever stay there. There isn't much of a view, the dunes are very high. You can see the beach if you look out to the side of the balcony. The fishing pier is nice though and has great views of the sunset over the intercostal water. We love St. Augustine, but doubt we would stay here again.

Thanksgiving family vacation

The condo has a extremely well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, nice tv and great overall space. The sunsets from the back room were incredible. We enjoyed sipping wine and watching the view. You are steps from the beach which is also nice. The cons were the view from the front balcony is completely obstructed by the dunes. You can’t really see the beach. We like to sit out and look at the ocean and that was not possible.

Very homey, quiet, family friendly

They have EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the kitchen and more. (Crock pot, blender, gadgets, wonderful pots and pans etc) There were lots of extra towels and wash clothes in the closet. There were wonderful little boy toys (cars, trucks etc) a huge turtle float, an awesome toddler ring that goes over their head like a tshirt) beach chairs, extra blankets and pillows... just everything. Love the balconies on both sides of condo. You can see the water from both sides. If vegetation on the sand dunes were trimmed down some, the ocean view would be totally clear. The bay side, where the little fishing dock is, is a beautiful view as well.. but you can hear the road on that side. Comfortable beds and furniture (outside also) Loved that we could eat on tables on either balcony. Teenagers aren’t walking distance to stores or things to do but it’s a short drive to downtown and SO many wonderful water front places to eat, with wonderful service. Blessed to get to spend the week here with my family.

Nice Stay

The condo was spacious and had great beach access. We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint was that the condo was not cleaned very well upon our arrival. We had to wash the kitchen counters and the refrigerator door. The floor had food under the table and chairs.
