Upon check in we had a couple hiccups, but Pamela went above and beyond to help correct some of the issues and to make our stay more pleasant. The views were great and the fish were biting!

This is a very nice house. It is right on the main channel with a great view and a nice dock. It is very steep in the back and might not be suitable for seniors and little ones. There were two kayaks and a paddle board for use, but the kayak seats were broken. The kitchen was well equipped, but the refrigerator did not cool well. The beds were very firm and uncomfortable for us. All the sliding glass doors needed a good cleaning. It might work well for you, but we won’t come back here.

Had a wonderful time. The house was amazing and very clean. Lots of room to spread out and sit. Was able to sit outside on the deck while it was raining and enjoy the lake view. Nice neighborhood and even saw some deer while walking my dog. Would definitely stay here again
Ah, lake life!

We’re so glad you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the comfort, space, and peaceful setting—even getting to enjoy the view from the deck during the rain sounds special. It’s great that your dog got to join in on the walks and wildlife sightings too! We’d love to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway anytime.

This is a nice location on the lake. Check in was fine although we found a few unlocked sliders when we arrived. Windows are filthy and the kitchen is poorly stocked with pots, pans, cleaning supplies and utensils. The decking is in dire need of replacement and interiors are in need of updating, especially all bathrooms. Tile grout is black in spots and the porcelain in the tub is badly chipped. Mattresses are old and in need of replacement. My guests (two couples) had to sleep in separate beds due to sagging mattresses. Sleeping wasn’t great for them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear the home did not fully meet your expectations, especially regarding the decking, bathrooms, mattresses, and other maintenance concerns. We truly wish we had known about these issues during your stay rather than after check-out, as we would have welcomed the opportunity to address what we could while you were there. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention and will be reviewing them with our team. We hope you’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

We had a great extended family vacation at Rum Runner. Plenty of room for everyone. The loft has a mattress (that I believe is the “common space”, which is good for anyone who doesn’t mind climbing a ladder. There are 2 twin roll-away beds available, that we were not aware of ahead of time. So we had brought an air mattress for anyone that did not want to share a room. The view is beautiful and lots of swimming by the dock. We made good use out of the kayaks and paddle board. There are lots of stairs, so you will get your workout in. We had brought our 2 dogs, the only grass is at such a steep hill so there were a lot of walks with the dogs for bathroom breaks. Everyday we saw families of deer. It is such a great spot and loved our week spent here!

We went in April before season started, looking for a place to relax and unwind… and this was it!!!! The house was very comfortable and very clean! Well-stocked kitchen and linen supplies, even toiletries and laundry supplies-everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The view was spectacular!!! I’m ready to book this one again!!!!!
