About this property

Come explore the Western UP! Located right on the atv and snowmobile trail.

Conveniently located next to atv and snowmobile trail 8. This home is a great central location to explore the west end of the Upper Peninsula. Close to so many great waterfalls, the Porcupine Mountains, surrounded by the Ottawa National Forest and just a short drive to Lake Superior. You'll be surrounded by some of the best areas for outdoor recreation in Michigan.

There are 2 full bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a queen size bed and a queen size bunk bed with a twin bunk. There is an attached full bathroom with a shower and whirlpool tub. The second bedroom has 3 twin beds. There is another full bathroom off the kitchen with a stand up shower, washer and dryer. A convenient mud room is located at the back entrance of the home. There is plenty of room to unpack your gear and secure storage. A covered porch is located off the dining room area.

The rental is located in a 2-story 100+ historical building that used to be a lodge for the Independent Order of Oddfellows. It has since been remodeled in to 2 separate homes. The rental is on the entire first level of the building. The second level is our private residence, which is separated by a subfloor for privacy. Nothing is shared between the two homes.

Great Stay

A group of friends have stayed here at this cabin 3-4 times for an annual snowmobiling trip and it's always a great stay.We appreciate the convenience of being close to trails, the space is adequate for a group of guys, and the price is wonderful for the property.Thank you very much!

The property is well maintained and clean. Dining options around this property are very limited. Otherwise you will find most of the things you need for a short stay, except body soap and shampoos.

U.P. Adventure

The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the house. Took awhile to figure out how to use the fan to have air flow through the heating vents, more ceiling fans would’ve been helpful for us (we’re use to central air and windows that can open for fresh air). Great place overall.

This property itself was nice. It is quite unique. Stock up on supplies before you go. There was no grocery, gas, or convenience store in the town. There was in the next town over, however.

No AC that probably was the only thing wrong with the rental.

Great place to stay!

This was a great place to stay as we hiked the traphills on the north country trail! The large entry room was a great location for all of our hiking gear. Having the bar next door for a quick drink or food helped after a long hiking day too.
