We stayed in bldg C of this complex 3 yrs ago. Hurricane Ian hit in Sept of 2022. This complex has made great strides to allow their owners access to their units for personal and rental purposes. The grounds have a lot of recovery yet but the pool is open and so is the shore. We stayed in Bldg B this time around and look forward to being back next year.
We loved the lazy beach days at Carmen's beautifully decorated condo. She was quick to respond to all our inquiries and the condo had all the beach paraphernalia one could want. Breathtaking sunsets! We gave a 4 star overall rating only because of the beach reclamation project outside of the condo, went on 24/7 with heavy machinery constantly making noise. However, we know this is temporary and hope we can return next year!
The unit was what we expected. The view was nice and constant breeze on the patio. The adjacent beach was being worked on and not available, but only a short walk to access neighboring section. They had an elevator broken, so there were a few times we waited for 10-15 for elevator, but overall a good experience.

The host was welcoming but when we pulled the chain for the ceiling fan, it broke off inside the fan. The floor fan in the unit was absolutely filthy. I contacted Carmen who advised that she should have replaced that fan at the same time as the kitchen one but that she had someone who could look at it. She also offered to have her cleaning person check for another floor fan. We never heard from her again and no one came to look at anything. The unit was missing baseboards, the pleated wall divider was not attached to the wall so couldn't be closed. The light in the corner of the living/kitchen area was missing. The kitchen was not clean - dirty dishes in cupboards, appliances not cleaned inside and out, and food marks on the light fixture right above the sink in plain eye-view. The lack of professional cleaning is unacceptable given that we pay the cleaning fee and deserved a clean and disinfected unit. Its too late to clean once we check in. Last year we also stayed in this bldg. and that was the filthiest condo I have ever stayed in in my life. It appears absentee owners are trusting others that are not doing the work. We pay a premium to stay on the ocean as well as addl cleaning fee and these units should be clean, well maintained and everything working properly. Our first year here was with a premier owner and everything was perfect, so I guess anything less than a premier host is problematic. We love the location and weather, but unit condition is an issue

Thank you for your feedback and for the 4-star review. I’m sorry the ceiling fan issue affected your stay. After the chain was pulled out, my maintenance professional assessed it and advised that repairing it would require removing the entire base, which unfortunately couldn’t be completed before the end of your visit.
The adjacent room, which is open to the bedroom, has a fully functioning ceiling fan, and the condo is equipped with air conditioning, windows, and sliding glass doors that open to the Gulf for airflow.
Regarding cleanliness, this is something I take very seriously. I have not received cleanliness complaints in over 15 years, and I personally stay in the condo several times a year to ensure it is well maintained and clean for guests.
