Just right for our extended family of 10. Plenty of space to sleep and park our four cars. Dinners and lounging were cozy as we used up all of the living and dining room. Appreciated the spices, paper products, and cleaning supplies. We recommend the Cozy Cabin. Thank you!

Weekend at Sugarloaf

My brother and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, comfortable, and close to the mountain. Lauren was also highly responsive whenever we had any questions. I would definitely stay here again!

Great cozy place close to sugarloaf

Warm cozy comfortable clean cabin very close and easy to sugarloaf. My 4 friends and i were very comfortable and we were able to get the slopes very quickly to completely take advantage of 2 powder says! Highly recommended

Very campy. Not the cleanest. Very close to mountain, and also neighbors who are clearly not happy about this property being a rental. Pets are welcome but no yard, and very close to road.

Cleanliness is my top priority and my cleaners always triple check to make sure the cabin is extremely tidy & clean. We have never had any interaction with the neighbors and we didn’t hear any issues or complaints during your stay or they would have been addressed immediately.

Camp Cottage

The house gave us easy access to the mountain and was great for that reason. Unfortunately the property’s location was not as described. It was located on the main road with very little yard to walk our dog despite the description showing it in a community off the river. The home is what I would describe as a “camp” cabin and provided just enough room for four and lacked comfortable seating for everyone at the same time after a day on the mountain.

Thank you for staying at the ‘Cozy Carrabassett Cabin!’ As stated in our name, the property is a cabin and is not described as a waterfront property, nor in a community. It is located on a private, wooded lot, very close to the mountain! We welcome our furry friends & are happy you were able to bring your large dog. Along with four bedrooms, seating in the common areas of the cabin are shown in the photos including a dining table with four chairs, a love seat, a recliner & stools for additional seating so our guests can relax after a long day of enjoying the outdoors!

Great for Sugarloaf Get a way!

We stayed at the property with 3 adults and 2 teens our Dog very comfortable. Did a great job with the decor. I would stay again for ease to the Mt and the 4 bedrooms were a plus. It is cute rustic.Notable: There was a lot of snow so not much space for the dog to go out and it is very close to the road. The hot water is made for about 2 showers so that was a bit of an issue with 4-5 people wanting to shower, otherwise the location was great and the kitchen was useful for small meals. Master bedroom was cold the first night but warmed up after the first day.

Charming cabin with some notable drawbacks

We enjoyed our family ski trip in this charming cabin that is very close to Sugarloaf and that has several thoughtful design touches. Some issues to note: master bedroom has no independent heat and will get frigid if the door is closed all the way; water pressure is low (so, e.g., washing dishes while someone showers is somewhat problematic); power breaker tripped twice when stove, coffee maker, and heater were on at the same time; there is very little kitchen counter space and no dishwasher, so cooking and cleanup is a challenge; finally, while the beds accommodate 10-12, it should be noted that the living and dining area are suitable only for a smaller number (dining table seats 6, living area accommodates 3 on plush seating and rest will be on stools or dining chairs) and there is only one bathroom. Also, VRBO says there is a hot tub, but there is not (unless it is buried under snow?). Just a shower in a single bathroom. Despite these drawbacks, we still very much enjoyed the place, and the communication from the owner was excellent.

Our electrician has addressed the breaker and I have upgraded the bedding in the master bedroom downstairs to an ‘extra warm’ down comforter to ensure if you want to close the door, you will be warm in the winter months! I’m glad you enjoyed the cabin & hope you stay with us again soon!
