Great accommodation

The duplex was exactly as described but more. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The proximity to town center was an added bonus. We could walk to restaurants and an ice cream parlor; churches and a walking trail.

Stairs not for the weak

Apartment was very cute. Clean and close to everything. Bedrooms need curtains though the blinds don't block enough light out for early morning sun. Stairs are steep and narrow but not a big deal. Owner is extremely easy to communicate with. Would stay here again

Big space on the second floor

It was large, clean and located right in the downtown area. We ended up not having any extra time to look around or go try the places to eat, but they were close by. The stairs are very steep and hard to get large suitcases up (or multiple bags)

We were in Southington for a week visiting family and had reservations at a hotel, but once we checked into that hotel, it was horrible and we definitely couldn't stay there a whole week. Frantically searching other hotels for accommodations and just wasn't finding anything till someone said, "Check Vrbo!" And I located this listing by Mark and it was available!!!! The area it's located is absolutely perfect! Walking distance of the lively downtown shops and restaurants and bars.The duplex was easy to find, parking was perfect.The only thing that was not to my husband's liking was the steep stairway while he was lugging our luggage up it! Once he got passed that, we fell in love with the place!Clean, roomy 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and best part, I did laundry the night before we traveled home so I wouldn't have to do laundry once we got home!!!This duplex was BETTER than any hotel room we could have stayed at and I told Mark, when we know the dates of our next trip back, I will be booking his place again!!!Highly recommend this duplex, you won't be disappointed!!
