Built in the year 1900 and has the perfect location for your vacation needs whether you are coming to go skiing, whitewater rafting or take pictures of the beautiful gold and orange aspen leaves in the fall. This home is just a 5-minute walk away from beautiful Clear Creek where you can flyfish, a 10-15 walk (less than 1 mile) to downtown Idaho Springs. Idaho Springs offers numerous restaurants, shopping, gold mine tours, whitewater rafting, zipline/ropes courses and many other activities. This home has a recently rebuilt fenced-in backyard that offers a welcoming and secure space for your beloved fur-baby and ample seating to stargaze. Free on and off-street parking is offered for guests. LIC# 2022-14.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Lock the doors
Please put all used towels in the first floor bathroom (preferably the washing machine).
Please take all excess trash (anything that doesn’t fit in the inside trash can) to the trash can outside the back yard gate.
Lock both downstairs doors but please leave the front and back door porch lights on, please.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If you move any furniture, it must be returned to its original space (especially the futon in the master bedroom). Noncompliance may result in a fee.

Hot Springs, White Water, and Downtown! You’ve got it all!

My friends and I spent a day in Golden tubing and enjoying the Coors brewery! We walked to downtown Idaho Springs and enjoyed the restaurants, bars, and great people! We spent a morning at the hot springs and an evening in black hawk losing all our money, but making unforgettable memories! Couldn’t recommend this place more highly as a central hub for all things fun!

Great home and fantastic backyard

The home was just as described and well appointed. The backyard was beautiful with plenty of seating, fire pit and BBQ grill. The owner was very responsive. The mattresses and pillows were some of the best I have experienced at a VRBO rental.

Great back yard!

House was great for my family's mini vacation. Loved the back yard with the fire pit to relax around in the evening. Great master bedroom and the sheets on the beds were wonderful!

Mountain House Charm

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was very cozy, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner is very friendly and responds quickly to questions. I would rent this place again.

Great house in historic mountain town

The house was very unique and stocked with everything we might possibly need and then some. The house, and the town of Idaho Springs, are very conveniently located, so it’s a breeze to get in and out whether headed to Denver or the Ski slopes to the west. The house had plenty of space for our group of six and we enjoyed the private backyard area each evening.

Very spacious, all the amenities and walkable

This house was very large and spacious. The primary bedroom was extremely large and the others were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything you could need and more. We loved being able to walk to the cute downtown with many shops and restaurants. Our sons also enjoyed walking to Clear Creek to fish. The walkway along Clear Creek is lovely and another way to get into town.

Idaho springs stay

The backyard and picnic table helped get the family together for dinners and card games outside. We loved the space inside. This home was a very comfortable stay for us. Location was perfect for our white water rafting trip, st marys glacier hike, & a trip into denver.

Awesome stay!

This is a large but homey cabin. It was clean with nice beds and furniture. Our kids loved the television there with Hulu on it. There is also a nice backyard. The coffee station with snacks was a nice treat. Thank you for the great stay!:-)

Awesome Location/Stay!

This was a great place to stay for my friends and I for a ski vacation. Only about 45 minutes away from some of the best ski resorts. The place itself and a spacious living room and everything we needed for 7 people. Really cool backyard and a nice tv! Highly recommend.

Great property, great location

This property is great! My group of 5 adults spends a few days skiing at Loveland every year. We enjoy staying in Idaho Springs for the convenience to the ski area and the amenities in town. Jonathan’s property has all the comforts of home. Plenty of room for several people to sleep, eat and just sit around and relax. Easy access to town and getting on I-70 to hit the mountains. Jonathan is quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. We will definitely come back!

Amazing Cozy Stay

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. It felt like a home away from home. The check in was easy and exactly as described. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax. Every detail was well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything to cook just like we were home. Jonathan was super responsive and a great host. We would definitely stay again!

Trip to visit family in Idaho Springs

The house was exactly as described. It was incredibly well furnished- there was tremendous attention to detail. We throughly enjoyed the backyard as well. It was the ideal place to visit family in Idaho Springs. Jonathan was extremely easy to contact and communicate with. He always responded very prompt by both email and text. Excellent experiences. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy, very welcoming mountain home

We enjoyed the convenient location, size, amenities, warmth, comfort, welcoming feeling of the home. The host was thoughtful, compassionate, well-spoken, generous and kind. It snowed quite a bit and he went out of his way to shovel sidewalks and parking spots for three cars. He created a warm, memorable experience for everyone once we walked through the door. He had great games and movies. FUN, FUN, FUN!

House needs work

This house is in need a lot of work. Beds were uncomfortable, appliances are falling apart, floors are not even. Definitely not worth the money. Many nicer places to stay in Idaho Springs for less money.
