Beauregard Town Historic District holiday lettings

We loved this house and the historic area where it is located. We had been let down on another property before finding this wonderful gem. Like walking back in to the past. But with mod cons for the present day. Even a little courtyard at the back of the house. We would thoroughly recommend this house to anybody considering a rental in Baton Rouge. It is spotless and beautifully kept. The property manager was so helpful and accommodating. We found that we could easily walk to most places in town. For eating, shopping and sightseeing. We did venture out to the plantation houses for a visit while in the region. Being history lovers we were interested in the politics of the region, US naval exhibits and the civil war. There is certainly plenty to see and some lovely buildings and architecture to view and visit. As British visitors we felt spoilt and overwhelmed by the hospitality of everyone we met during our holiday.
