We enjoyed our stay. Easy access to the home. Lovely deck off the back that overlooks trees and beautiful sunrises. Home was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and we're so appreciative that we could find somewhere to stay while traveling with my dog on short notice. The home was very clean and comfortable, and the location is perfect for visiting the state parks nearby.
The property is absolutely beautiful, and the generous windows bring the forest to you. The place was very clean. The kitchen is well-provisioned and we did a lot of cooking with no limitations. He provides filtered water so you don’t need to bring water bottles. Loved that it was dog friendly. We will be back.
This place is beautiful! Very clean and had everything I needed. Better than advertised. Very helpful with last minute booking. Ideal location close to State parks but only a 1/2 hour drive to Pittsburgh. There were also a couple cute smaller towns with food and shopping nearby.
Location was perfect, minutes from the state parks we visited. Comfy bed, wood burning fireplace (with wood provided), nice tv, and the kitchen was stocked with all the amenities that make traveling easier, such as condiments, cooking oils, foil, utensils, pans, coffee and filters, etc. The only things we noticed worth improving were providing more pillows for the beds (two on each), and securing the internet with a password as our work IT policies prohibit us from connecting to unsecure Wifi.
We had a lovely stay away from the noisy city of Atlanta. It was Heavenly! The cabin was so cozy and had everything we needed. The fire was really nice. The red controller on the Nintendo is stuck & doesn't work btw. There was a bit of dog hair about but it's a pet friendly cabin so that's expected. I can't express how peaceful our stay was. Thank you so much for the easy check in and great communication. Having a fresh drinking water cooler was a nice touch. Thanks again and again!
My husband and I booked this cute house for two days over New Years. We loved the wood burning fireplace! We were also appreciative that we were able to bring our fur babies. The only hiccup we had was the heat was not working for the first night but Chris was able to send out someone to get the furnace back up and running. We were very happy with our stay! Thank you!
Always imagine seeing at a house or cabin in the woods at the fall time for my 40th birthday, my partners 40th and my daughter's 11th birthday. In addition, planned to propose during this trip. This house was the perfect spot for all of this to make the coming back after busy days magical, very relaxing and comfortable and overall a perfect place to stay!
The house is very private and nice! Would have gave it a 10 out of 10 but we had 2 issues. When we arrived the thermostat was set to 80 and it was over 90 degrees upstairs. The AC took a long time to cool the house down but once it did it worked great. There was an issue with one of the toilets that kept it running and we ran out of well water. Spent the last 2 days of the trip with no water. The house was pretty clean except for a large puddle of water when we arrived. Looked like it was from the dogs water bowl. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend assuming the water issue is fixed.
Was just looking for a place to get away not too far away from home. This place topped the billing! Everything was ready and plenty of supplies/ dishes and cookware in the kitchen and whole house. We didn't even leave the house. Chilled for two days! Cooked all of our our meals and simply relaxed. A new roof over the porch made for a great place to sit and relax... even as it rained! So convenient to highways, parks, a lake and all!! HUGE bedroom upstairs ad a bath both up and down stairs. Very nice and quite comfortable!

Disliked: Location
Not for me
We ended up leaving after eight hours primarily due to the temperature of the house. It was initially set at 75. I lowered it to 68. Eight hours later the temperature went to 74. Far too warm for my comfort. There are neighbors closer than I expected and although it's rural, there's a bit of road noise. We were there on a holiday though, so it could have caused more traffic. The deck was nice, furniture on the deck not so much. There were other things I didn't care for, but different strokes. To me, the inability to cool the place to my liking was unacceptable.
Christopher’s property was perfect for our family’s holiday. We were able to bring our dog which was such a relief as he’s part of the family and it’s always hard to find someone to watch him over the holidays. The location was perfect for us very close to Moraine St park so Leopold had beautiful wide open spaces to hike/run. It was also close to Cranberry/Seven Fields where most of my PA family live so spending time with them was easy & a blessing.
A couple minor observations- The house is near a main road so some street noise but that didn’t phase us. The shower drain was a little slow.
Very nice, enjoyed staying here w our dogs, we're thankful for allowing pets. Boarding is not an option for them due to anxiety of crating & other animals. We look fwd to staying at this property again over the next 3 yrs, while attending an annual events - beautiful area, lots of wild life, deer, birds garden. We also want to come back and stay in the summer to visit the state parks. thank you so much! 3 stars for communication bc we didnt have to reach out at all
Enjoyed a two night stay at this location. Everything was as listed in the listing. Owner was easy to contact to with and quick response. It was close to the southern siide of lake Arther. The only suggestion is that you need are larger frying pan and a turner for flipping eggs in the kitchen. Would recommend this property for any one wanting to stay in the area.
