I had a fantastic stay at the “Bostonian”. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient. The host was welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process smooth. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great stay in the American Fork area. Would definitely return!
This is the second time at this home. We enjoyed the house, once again, and its location to everything we were doing in American Fork. Quaint neighborhood, quiet house, conveniently located.
It's a nice home in an easy-to-access location. We were in town for a week. The owner was quick to respond to questions. Check-in and check-out were easy. The small fenced yard worked great for our little dog. The home has a nice garage in which to park. We would stay here again.
Nice home. Was comfortable for the family of 4. Home was clean except for pet hair everywhere. I laid my clothes in the bed and when I picked it up it had pet hair all over it. The location was okay but the homes were so close together. Was hard to get in and out depending if neighbors were home.
The property was very clean and the rooms were all accommodating. The property is conveniently located for access to food and other necessaties. Kitchen was stocked and functional. Beware there is not much dining space though. The parking is a pain as well if you need more than the double garage. No yard really. Make sure to read al pricing before booking and the cleaning fee is a little steep for owners wanting everything stripped and put in specific locations.
Property - The property is nice except the HVAC system is terrible. Lots of heat upstairs but none downstairs. They did provide a heater downstairs which did help. Management - This property owner was a mess to work with! I modified our reservation several days BEFORE the cancellation deadline but I guess the owner never changed it on their end even though I not only changed it formally through VRBO but ALSO sent a message letting them know I needed to modify it. Due to this it became a NIGHTMARE to get my money refunded. The owner kept telling me to call VRBO and when I would, they would tell me the owner needs to contact them. They kept refunding the wrong amount. I do NOT think this owner knows how to work with VRBO. We rent a LOT and never had this type of issue in the past. The other item is that there is NO disclosure of a 100 pet fee. It just says that pets are allowed. Had I known the pet fee was this high, I probably would have rented elsewhere but besides that, I assumed our pet was listed on the original reservation because I did a search based on 2 adults, 2 kids and a pet. Well, I guess our dog was not listed somehow. Rather than the owner nicely indicating there was a pet fee, she accused us of trying to "sneak" our pet in (which we were NOT trying to do) and was just rude about the whole thing. This all after my husband cleaned up their back yard of dog poop that obviously had been left by SEVERAL previous renters. Home-Nice. Owner-Nightmare!
The house was very clean and beautiful. Our time there was wonderful. The only complaints I would have is the neighbor hood. The houses are on top of each other. This made it very hard for us to even pull in the garage. The other is the cameras outside and in the garage. This seemed a little strange to me. It may have been a little less concerning if it would have been disclosed to us in the description. (The yard could also use a little love) Otherwise a very pleasant experience.
My wife and I were in town taking personal care of some dental. We were in need of a place we could comfortably stay throughout the process and cook as needed. This house was every bit of what we needed. It was also convienently located to our dental office, shopping, and groceries. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful as we had to contact them a couple of times in the beginning to ask some questions. We would stay here again...
