Better than glamping

We stayed 2 nights while biking the local trails. it was a peaceful spot and a relaxing stay. through no fault of the owner, it was a bit further away from the trail heads than we had expected.

Peaceful

Such a beautiful and tranquil location. Kudos the owner. The cabins fit so well into the amazing scenery, are gorgeously designed, and well-furnished. Really hope I can make it back some day!

Outstanding views!

This property was everything as stated and so much more. Clean, quiet and the views of the valley below were outstanding. To bad the old legs could not handle the hiking trails, but they looked awesome too.

2nd Stay in Mindoro

This is our second time staying at Krueger cabin. We absolutely love this place! We love how secluded, yet safe and clean this cabin is. We usually spend our time watching College basketball and cooking! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet little getaway in a beautiful location. Our dog also LOVES staying here!

Quiet Retreat

A dear friend, myself and my dog enjoyed a BEAUTIFUL quiet getaway to sit on the porch, watch the skies, make good food, meander wooded paths and dream about what our future could hold. This location was PERFECT. Beautiful, clean space, well outfitted, easy to find and just before we left we figured out the lingering whitetail deer in the yard was a Momma of THREE fawns! It was an incredible weekend and can’t wait to come back!

When you need a place to escape the 4th of July . . .

We booked the cabin nearly a year in advance knowing we didn't want to stay home and endure another 4th of July weekend with our insensitive neighbors and their annual, obnoxious firecracker party. We just wanted to get away! The High Point Retreats were the perfect alternative. Quiet, isolated and gorgeous! Plus, we were treated to at least a dozen far-away fireworks displays that we could see from the back porch, all across the Mississippi valley. Magical!The cabin, itself, was modern and beautiful. But the view! In the slight haze of the afternoon, you'd swear you were atop the Blue Ridge Mountains. We will be back!
