Ideal location in Morro Bay! The cottage is small, but very well appointed and worked well for our family of four. The yard was a wonderful bonus and we ate most meals outside.

Barron was an excellent host and responded very quickly whenever we reached out to him. The house was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the hot tub was a great bonus. The location was also fantastic. It's an easy 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and you can get onto Highway 1 to head toward the Embarcadero or north to Cayucos and Cambria. The neighborhood was especially meaningful to me because my grandparents lived just a short walk away when I was a kid. It was nice being able to walk my dog past their old house and revisit some good memories.We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Orchid Cottage!! The house was spotless when we arrived and was stocked with everything we could possibly need, making our stay easy and comfortable. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful about making guests feel at home. Check in and out was easy. The beds were, without a doubt, the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on in a vacation rental. We all slept incredibly well every night! If you’re looking for a clean, cozy, well-equipped place, we highly recommend the Orchid Cottage. We will definitely be staying here again!Thank you host!!

The Orchid Cottage was a perfect stay for our little family exploring the central coast. Great location easy to get on the 1 and drive up for some hikes or head into downtown Morro Bay for dinner with a view. The hot tub was perfect to come back and relax after a day of exploring and my daughter loved watching the cows on the hillside from the backyard!Beds were incredibly comfy and kitchen well stocked.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage! It is well-stocked with all you could need to cook (pots, pans, etc...) The pantry is filled with spices. The location is perfect for strolling the beach!

Ideal location, can easily walk to beach, grocery store and several restaurants. Walk-able, friendly, pleasant and quiet neighborhood. Near Moro Bay's shopping, and waterfront. Property is in good condition, and dog friendly. Washer and dryer and nice galley kitchen. Plenty of outdoor seating on both ends of the house for morning and evening gatherings. Beds had pillow top, soft mattress covers. My only disappointment was that king beds sides were against one wall, which made it difficult for night time trips to the bathroom.
