We loved our stay. The place is well equipped and clean, the area is beautiful. It feels secluded and quiet. Great stars, birds, trees…we saw deer walk up to the deck. We really enjoyed the space.
Billy was great to communicate with. He was quick to respond to our questions. The location of the home is excellent and close to Evergreen and Red Rocks Amphitheater. We enjoyed the hot tub and found it very clean and well maintained.
Absolutely gorgeous place nestled in the foothills southwest of Evergreen. Place was well-equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. Take note that there is no A/C, so it can get a little stuffy during the heat of the day during summer months. But, opening all the windows allows the rooms to cool down just fine in the evenings. Communications with the host were fantastic. This is a great romantic place to stay that’s away from it all.
Nice place. Quiet and secluded w/ regular deer and elk visitors wandering outside the cabin. Well stocked and everything worked well. It no longer has a BBQ grill due to fire hazards (summer 2026). The road to the house is a windy mountain road that takes about 25 mins to town of Evergreen. Great overall experience!
This A-frame is such a cute and fun getaway close to Denver. Our little family of four wanted a "staycation" near town, but to enjoy the beauty of the foothills and mountains. This was the perfect stay. It had all of the ammenities necessary, and a bonus hot tub. My daughter and I sat in the hot tub in the morning watching a fawn nibble on foliage. It was perfect. It does require some horsepower and a mountain vehicle in the winter weather, but as long as you're prepared for that, you will have everything you need once there. The communication was great and we would definitely go back and/or recommend to a friend!
This primitive location is not a summer rental. It has no Air Conditioning, air movement or ventilating fans. Nor does this rental have an office as represented on VRBO. After driving very slowly in a 4 wheel drive vehicle on the undeveloped and deeply guttered dirt roads, we checked in on August 19, 2026 at 3 pm and it was 81 degrees outside. When we opened the house, it was stifling HOT inside the house. The roof is BLACK and the only windows are on one side of the house so there are no thru breezes and it is an A-frame, so the upper level is even hotter and more stifling. We could not get any air movement inside. Nor was there an office in the house as represented, which was the main reason we selected the home. We could not stay. We checked out at 4 pm the same day and canceled our reservation due to the misrepresented lack of an office and the extreme heat, lack of any ventilating fans, air movement or AC. Communication with the host, VRBO and the host's property management agency became complicated and took months to resolve. We do not recommend this property as a summer rental.
Our girls trip stay was amazing! The hot tub was the perfect touch for my birthday trip and the elusive black fox made an appearance for us. 10/10 - need to bring my family back now!
Great property, great views! Fun trip from Evergreen up the mountain to the property. Will be quiet and peaceful, enjoy the fireplace inside or the hot tub outside!
We brought our family for a wedding in Staunton State Park. This location was great! The hot tub was a hit! It worked great for a weekend getaway for us.

So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We’d love to have you back again soon.
This beautiful home is tucked about 20 minutes away from downtown Evergreen and up a windy road. You feel tucked away and yet everything is still close by - best of both worlds.
