It's built with logs so it's very cozy, heavy and quiet inside but still has all modern amenities. It's tucked into acreage near Lake Superior and while it is not directly on the shore, it is close. Also, it's just a few minutes to Two Harbors and 15 or so to Duluth.

Beautiful property close to two harbors very private location. Our dog enjoyed being off leash and not having to worry about getting hit by a car. The night sky is amazing. There is not any light pollution.
It was in a great location and perfect for our family. It was clean and met all expectations! Chad was quick to all questions and easy to get ahold of. Highly recommend this place!!
We had a wonderful time staying here for a cool week in July - a great break from our hot and humid home on the east coast. The cabin is lovingly and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay in the north woods. The beds are very comfortable, as well as the other furnishings. The owners have taken great care to make this a wonderful place to stay no matter the season. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. In addition, the location is very convenient to all the area’s natural destinations as well as shopping - groceries, etc. You won’t be disappointed!
It’s a nice cabin and very clean. The only issue we had was with the gas grill. It wasn’t in working order. Provided soap and shampoo for the shower otherwise say it’s not included. The listing could be more clear about it being a 3 bedroom. It’s really a one bedroom with 2 optional bedrooms. That needs to be highlighted more.
This cabin was located perfectly in the woods but less than a minute from 61. You never knew you were that close to the Hwy!! The cabin is very well taken care of and very cozy. We all enjoyed our time there. Chad was in contact with us with important upates anf information we needed. I have already sent a link to several friends!
Our stay at this Vrbo was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and even better than the pictures. The space had such a welcoming feel — cozy, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was perfect, close to everything we wanted to do, yet peaceful enough to truly relax. We especially loved the kitchen with the beautiful cabin windows and the privacy! We had our infant daughter with us and it was a great space for her to move around to! The host was fantastic — responsive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of, which made the whole experience stress-free.We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend this Vrbo to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay up at the North Shore!
Cabin was very clean and everything we expected. Great location. The host was wonderful to work with! I had an issue with the app and Chad was very helpful! I would book again!
Cabin was new, clean, and well-furnished. Bedrooms were comfortable and attractive. Kitchen and bathrooms had what we needed. Multiple gathering spaces on three levels—good for groups. Deck was lovely for bor stargazing
This was a great location for exploring the shore. There was easy access to both Duluth and the North Shore parks. It provided plenty of space for the 6 of us. We were able to gather together for family time and spread out when we wanted to get our homework done (2 college students and a teacher in the group). Be aware that it is on a well, so depending on what you are use to, you might want to bring bottled drinking water.
Chad was responsive, friendly and very helpful. This is a family owned property and they were awesome all around. The property itself is set in beautiful northwoods acreage near Lake Superior (teensy bit of lake view and beautiful woodland views) with easy access to the North Shore and Duluth.
It was squeaky clean, very warm, inviting and well stocked. Really, just perfect.
We went to go on our sxs’s, which the planned ride was cancelled. We decided to go anyway and sightsee some of the Northshore since we live on the Iron Range and don’t get to the Northshore that often. The cabin very clean, beds were very comfortable and we were able to use the newly built fire pit! You’ll want to bring your own chairs to sit around the fire pit (which we brought)! We can see there’s some very minor things missing from the kitchen (hot pad holders, cutting board) but other than that it was a beautifully wonderful place and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay and visit the Northshore! We drove up to Lutsen (only about an hour) and did the Gondola ride and the alpine slide, of course you have to hit Betty’s pies. Thank you for sharing your beautiful Cabin!
We had the most amazing stay at this cozy VRBO cabin nestled in the heart of Minnesota's Winter Wonderland! From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the snow-covered trees, peaceful silence, and the crisp winter air. The cabin itself was the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, with a cozy fireplace that made it feel like a home away from home. The space was incredibly clean and thoughtfully designed, with many details considered to ensure a comfortable stay. We loved the spacious kitchen and family room with large windows, which allowed us to gaze out at the beautiful winter landscape while sipping our morning coffee. Our days were filled with outdoor exploration and wildlife photography, which was our main focus—we spotted 10 Great Gray Owls and even a Boreal! An epic trip for a birding enthusiast. The hosts were fantastic, providing great communication throughout our stay and even giving us recommendations for favorite local spots to explore. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or simply a chance to unplug and enjoy nature, this VRBO is the perfect winter hideaway. We can't wait to return!Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, Tony and Emily
The cabin is in a wooded private location and very clean on arrival , check in process easy. We enjoyed quiet walks on the country road and Lake Superior is stunning around Two Harbors. Some items that would have been appreciated would be a comfortable sitting area on the upper level beside the dining table so you can look out at the woods along with some comfortable chairs on the deck. We used the picnic table but some rockers or Adirondack chairs would be amazing for older adults. A firepit on the property would have been a nice feature as well. Some throw rugs in the lower level bathroom and bedroom so you don’t get cold feet on the concrete floors. I believe the cabin is still a work in progress and perhaps these things are going to be added. The kitchen is beautiful with new appliances and dishes. Over-all the property has great potential and we enjoyed the privacy and slept well in comfortable clean beds.

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for being one of our first guests. Yes, still a family work in progress. Thank you for the suggestions. You are correct... most are on our radar (and many more) and will be added as more family and guests use the cabin. For future reference, I live in the area and if there are any concerns that can be addressed on the fly, I'm happy to stop what I'm doing and get it done.
Sincerely,
Chad.
