Several problems with the house.1. Lights in the dining area were not working2. Down stair bathroom lights were not working3. Up stairs bathroom hot/cold shower were reversed 4. Door knob of master bedroom was broken and was told hours before check in.
Check in time was 4:00 PM. We arrived at 6:00 PM and was greeted at the door by the cleaners who didn't want us to enter and gave all kinds of excuses why the property wasn't ready for check-in.We left to go get dinner and when we returned we weren't able to get the electronic key pad front door to completely open the dead bolt.Thankfully, the cleaners had left a back door unlocked and we were able to gain entry that way. There were no comforters or blankets available for any of the four beds. After four calls that went straight to voicemail and VRBO messages sent, the manager finally returned my call. She agreed to bring new batteries for the front door key pad and comforters for the beds. We finally received those an hour and a half later. The manager was unable to get the front door key pad working. It was late so we agreed to use the garage door key pad (which we found later also did not work) or the garage door opener. We had to text again the next day to get keys to the back door just so our group of seven all had a way to come and go. There was food left in the refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets and opened/ spilled candy left in the drawer from previous renters. We had to empty the dishwasher and dryer. The upstairs stair railing was not attached to floor in any way, so if we had small children that would have been a huge hazard. The TV remote downstairs had been chewed up and was in three pieces. The inside door knob on primary bedroom upstairs fell off every time
