The house was not clean & was very shabby

The house needs a major refresh. The kitchen was very poorly outfitted....only one coffee mug....only one normal size fork.....etc. The house was not clean and was very shabby. I would not recommend this property and would never stay there again. The pictures are very misleading.....there are much better properties available for a vacation rental.

Comfortable house!

We loved the house. Very comfortable beds and furniture. Terrific location close to everything. We had planned to use the downstairs bedroom but didn’t when we saw 3 dehumidifiers in the room. Disappointed in only beach chairs were 3 child size and no adult chairs. Had to buy a blender. But house suited all our needs and we were happy overall.

When we arrived on Saturday July 20th there was a strong mold/mildew smell. It was coming from the basement area it seemed liked a dehumidifier or bathroom had leaked and molded the carpet. We notified the management company and they sent cleaners out on Monday. The problem was not resolved and the smell was atrocious, we had to keep every window and sliding glass door open just to be able to be in the house. We were lucky it was just the 2 of us because noone could have used the basement bedrooms. On Thursday they sent someone to treat the carpet again and finally cleaned the BBQ grill. The beach chairs we were promised in the description did not come until Friday and we left Saturday. By the time we left Saturday the smell was better from whatever chemical was used on Thursday. Hopefully for the next renters it was ok. The house was clean overall and a nice size but I feel we should be compensated for the horrible oder we had to put up with.

Great Getaway Spot with Family, Dog Friendly

We had 6 people staying here, 2 adults and 4 teens plus our beagle. The layout of the house was great and allowed the kids to have their own space separate from the adults. The backyard is fenced in and it was nice to be able to let the dog out and not have to worry about her wandering. The neighborhood was great, very quiet, and close to a couple beaches. The biggest beach nearby is Seagull Beach, which is about 2 miles away. The kids were able to easily bike there without having to go on any busy roads. Hyannis Main St is also about 2 miles away and easy to get to for shopping and eating. The kitchen could use a few more essentials, like measuring cups, potholders, and mixing bowls. There is a propane grill, but we couldn’t find any grill tools, so had to improvise a little. Overall through, we had a great stay and I would recommend this house to friends for a reasonably priced place to stay at the Cape.
