This stunning 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom villa has been recently renovated to incorporate the character of old world architecture with the sleek style of modern design. The property sits approximately 100 feet above sea level in the Hills of Mismaloya, a quant fishing village that was put on the map back in 1964 as it served as the backdrop of the classic film, “Night of the Iguana” as well as highly acclaimed Apple TV series "Acapulco". This beach has been the inspiration behind many cinematic creations due to its beauty and charm. Surrounded by nature, this home makes the perfect base camp for the ecotourist. Walk, hike, or even travel by horseback!

Perfect villa for a trip to PV. Plenty of space, a gorgeous pool, and amazing views. Right off the main road - extremely easy to get to. Private and secluded, but a quick drive to Zona Romantica or other parts of PV.Sean was a communicative and friendly host, and Edith was amazingly responsive and immediately addressed and resolved any concerns we had.

Very nice rental

This house is spacious and well appointed. We spent a great week here. It is walking distance to the beach, and close to the zoo, botanical garden, butterfly sanctuary, and zip lining. It was great for our party of 10

WE WERE 3-FAMILY ..GRANDPARENTS (husband & I)) OUR CHILDREN & SPOUSES, GRANDCHILDREN 22 & 19, GRANDCHILDREN 10 & 8. THIS HOUSE WAS PERFECT....5 BEDROOMS & 5 BATHROOMS...& MORE NOOKS & ODD AREAS...SOMETIMES COULDN'T FIND PEOPLE; 3 BALCONIES, FULL-ON GYM (CRAZY) HUGE BBQ...PIZZA OVEN !! LAUNDRY....VERY CLEAN....GREAT TOWELS FOR POOL & BEACH; SERIOUSLY ...A GEM. THE TOWN OF MISMALOYA ....WE LOVED IT....LITTLE GROCERIES, COFFEE SHOP.... FEW RESTAURANTS.....ESPECIALLY 'TONY'S'....WHERE WE WENT FOR NYE....10 STARS IT DESERVES SO MY SON (THE CHEF) SAYS !!; CLOSE TO BEACH & CONSTANT BUSES RUNNING TO PV OR BOCCA ....FROM BOCA TAKE WATER TAXI TO SEVERAL OTHER BEACHES. I am a true Arizona Native, born and raised in the Valley of the Sun. I have been married to my corn husking wife now for 20 years and we have 6 awesome children. I am a corporate pilot and own and operate an agency that helps those with developmental disabilities.

Why they chose this property

My father started taking us to Mismaloya as kids back in the 90’s and I fell in love with the jungle. I have it on VHS as a kid telling my dad that I would live there one day and even proposed to my wife on the beach back in January 2006!

What makes this property unique

The home was originally built back in the late 80s and then abandoned at some point about 10 years later. It was taking back by the jungle until we purchased it in 2021. We added the sky light, the gym and the master bedroom, excavated the pool and incorporated the large boulders that serve as part of the homes foundation. The yard is very large for the area and the Mango tree is older than you or I!
