About the host

My Husband and I have lived in Taylor County, FL our entire lives. We have fished and scalloped the coastline as long as we can remember and can't imagine living anywhere else. We are former owners of Steinhatchee Bait and Tackle and I am a Realtor and Property Manager. We love helping folks visit and make some unforgettable memories.
Whether you need to know the best food places, the local hideaway fishing spots, or where the scallops are being found while you are here, we can help. Give us a call.
We always encourage everyone that has never been here before to book a charter on day 1, not the last day. On Day 1 you can get a view of the area and the captain will show you around. After that you can take your boat or rent one and have a great time. The worst thing to do is come with the family and try to find everything yourself for 3 days and the family gets frustrated. We want everyone to have a good time.
There are several other exploration spots within 20 miles of Salem. Check out our Rental FB page and plan ahead. See you Soon!!

Why they chose this property
This land has been family property for many years. The old homestead finally gave way to time and collapsed. The family decided to build farther off the main highway to enjoy nature at its finest. This new construction home is the perfect blend of modern luxury and rustic traditions.
