Van - The owner - was great. The house is ideal if you want to be 20 minutes from an event downtown. We’d stay again if we attend the Derby again.

House had charm with a mix of old and new and was very clean. Unfortunately it rained heavy that the Saturday night so we were not able to enjoy the big back deck once we got back to the house after a day out. As others said, it is on a busy road but that did not bother us when we were in the house. Overall, we recommend this house to anyone planning to stay in the Middletown area.

The home was very clean, even spotless, and had a fairly recent update to all the bathrooms and kitchen with new floors, fixtures and cabinets, etc.Note that there is no dishwasher.

House was a mix of old and new which was fun to explore. Big kitchen which could be equipped a bit better. Great yard with large deck and separate fire pit area. Located on a busy street which has noise and congestion at peak times of day. Overall, a lovely home.

The house was very nice and modern and clean. The road it’s on Shelbyville is very busy. It was comfortable with good beds linens and nice kitchen. We would stay there ago.

Volleyball Tournament

Our 3 night stay was quite enjoyable! Although we were far away from home, the elegantly decorated space made us all feel welcomed. With a remodled bathroom, living space and kitchen, it gave the perfecf combination of luxurwith many amenities and a homie feel. Id stay again!y

Quick Get Away

We were only in town for 2 nights but me and my adult kids loved the house. It was too chilly and late to sit outside on the lovely deck but that would have been fun, especially if we would have had the bonfire going. The only downside to the house is it is on a busy road but I would still rent it again.

Christmas visit in hometown

Great clean space to relax with back deck and fire pit in evening. Nice gas grill for late night dinners. Good size bedrooms for everyone and bathrooms for house guests. Plenty of hosting & relaxing room with living room, dining room, kitchen, and front/back deck. Plenty of parking ;). Laundry room has you covered for dirty and clean clothes. Need a day to get used to Middletown traffic and road noise but you have every store, chain, and hole in the wall food joint within five minutes drive. Also, jump on Gene Snyder to get to many parts of Louisville in 10-15 minutes with no traffic. Lastly, a must see foyer light fixture.

Great house very close to Valhalla!

We had an incredible stay at this house! It was perfect for our group of three couples, offering plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The house is just under a mile walk to Valhalla Golf Club, which made it easy for us to walk to the PGA championship. The house itself was immaculate and had clearly been recently renovated. Everything felt fresh and new, and the modern touches added a lot of charm. The cleanliness was impeccable, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Van was an exceptional host—very responsive and attentive to our needs. Anytime we had a question or needed assistance, he was quick to respond and extremely helpful. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend this property and would love to return in the future for another tournament!
