Unbelievable location and down to earth host. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable on our short stay and we wish we could've stayed the whole week!
My partner and I had a wonderful time! We will definitely be coming back in the future! The cabin was private, clean and very comfortable! We very much enjoyed the amenities of the full kitchen, the jacuzzi tub and the fireplace! We also loved and felt inspired by the books in the library.

Thanks for staying with us Lorna, come on back anytime.
We loved this place! So nice and comfy, it was refreshing to unplug for a bit away from everything! The only “issue” which isn’t a big deal - was we found 3 stink bugs in the cabin, I’m scared of bugs so this was not good for me. But at the same time in the middle of the woods I can’t be too surprise if a bug or two might fly in or what not. Everything else was great! The kitchen is decently sized to keep food in, we didn’t use the fireplace since it was warm but we clicked on by accident once and it was so pretty!Would love to visit again during the fall or winter!

Thanks for spending some time in the mountains with us.
Come back anytime.
Very clean, cozy cabin with great amenities. The host left me a card and seemed very available to help out with whatever we needed. The lack of cell service was a huge plus, as well. I already want to book again!

Chuck was an outstanding host—prompt in replying, clear with directions, and thoughtful in checking in to be sure all was well (in a genuine, non-intrusive way). The cabin was exactly as described, yet even more delightful in person thanks to so many special touches. We loved the thoughtful amenities: cozy robes, an immaculately clean whirlpool tub for two, bath salts and herbs made on the farm, and even toiletries like makeup remover cloths and toothbrushes if needed. With no Wi-Fi or TV, the cabin’s charm really shined—stocked with board games (we played Trivial Pursuit!), a wonderfully eclectic library, and a CD player. We even listened to a CD of the concert that was our very first date—14 years to the day! What impressed us most, though, were the personal touches: fresh flowers in a vase on the coffee table, mints on the bed, and a handwritten note waiting when we arrived. These details made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for.As the quote says, “Into the forest I go to lose my mind and find my soul.” This cabin was exactly that kind of restorative retreat.

We stayed at the Cabin and it was wonderful. A true log cabin, very well maintained and clean. The owner added some very nice touches with amenities at the cabin including new year celebration hats and noise makers! Very quiet and peaceful location.
