Windhoek is a lower level streamside apartment about 15 minutes from downtown Boone

The host and his home schooling family live upstairs

We really enjoy hosting. Our goal is to host families on vacations and couples on special getaways

Enjoyable stay in a quiet location

We were passing through and only stayed one night here but wish we could’ve stayed longer. The area is beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxing (as much as we could with a young kid and an infant). When we entered the space, we were greeted with a wonderful sign with our names on it, beverages, and a basket of snacks that my daughter immediately went after. They had everything one could possibly need in there and the full kitchen was so helpful to have for preparing meals. Everything went smoothly. We would love to stay here again in the future and will recommend it to our friends.
