Beautiful 2 story cabin with country decor! Rita was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Site was far enough outside Blowing Rock to be away from it all, but no so much that it was hard to get there--only about 5-10 minutes from town. House was exceptionally clean, even all the antique displays! We had a great time.

Host was very welcoming and accommodating. Even offered to refund or reschedule when the weather started looking bad for travel. Clean cabin, beautiful and well maintained property. Lives right beside of the rental but was not intrusive. Gave us a phone call when they updated us or to give us more information. We had plenty of linens, pillows, and a few toiletry items to go around. Location was ideal for going shopping, sight seeing, and for going to the slopes for skiing or ice skating. Will definitely book again in the future.

Didn't want to leave!

If you ever wanted to just test drive having your own mountain home, this is the place! It really feels like home, has coffee & washing powders already, even charcoal & lighter fluid. Just show up with what you want to put in the fridge, and pick a spot to relax. That's the hard part, because there are so many good relaxing spots here!

Barni was very friendly and our cabin was left in excellent condition! She communicated fabulously with me and I would highly recommend her to other VRBO hosts! We have beautiful views, abundance of wildlife with a short walk to our creek! Many people, especially children, do not get the experience of living or visiting in true wide open, beautiful areas! We love giving others this experience.
