Beautiful house with gorgeous pool

The house is beautiful with a very large kitchen opened to the family room. The master was on the first floor and has a gorgeous large bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. All the pictures are accurate. The pool is gorgeous and we enjoyed swimming every day. They also have furniture outside to relax in the shade. Coffee shops and restaurants are a quick drive and the neighbor felt very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

The management of this overpriced property is just awful, and everything provided in their "property guide" is a lie. Upon arrival the entry code provided did not work. We had to contact them and it turns out they provided the wrong code twice. The wifi did not work and when we contacted the property manager we were told to troubleshoot on our own. I had to wash all comforters on beds upstairs due to them being visibly soiled. There is a serious mold issue in the master bathroom. To the extent that it smells for hours anytime the shower is used. They do not pickup garbage as promised. We were there for 2 weeks and requested garbage pickup for the entire last week due to overflowing cans. It wasn't until about 2 days prior to us checking out that they finally emptiedThe pool is filthy and unusable more often than not. In the instructions provided it states that pool will be serviced weekly on a specific day. I can tell you that is a lie. I had to have multiple conversations with them to actually get the pool cleaned. When it actually did get cleaned they would just dump shock into it, not tell you any of the safety precautions regarding use of shock in the pool (like avoid swimming in the pool for 12 hours due to risk of chemical burns), and then never return o carry out the rest of the requirted steps in shocking a pool. We are lucky we own a pool and knew this, but many do not and this is a MAJOR SAFETY HAZARD.

We’re sorry the stay did not meet your expectations, but several statements in your review require clarification. When the entry-code issue was reported, our team assisted with access. Wi-Fi concerns were addressed through troubleshooting, which is a standard first step in diagnosing connectivity issues. The concerns regarding cleanliness, the bathroom condition, trash collection, and pool maintenance were also documented and escalated for follow-up. We take safety-related claims very seriously, especially any allegation involving pool chemicals or conditions that could potentially affect guest health. For that reason, such concerns are reviewed carefully with the appropriate service providers and maintenance teams rather than dismissed. At the same time, we do not believe it is fair to characterize the property as presenting a “major safety hazard” without allowing the issue to be properly inspected and verified. Pool servicing and chemical treatment are handled by maintenance professionals, and any reported concern involving chemical balance, cleanliness, or safe use is escalated accordingly. We also do not agree with the claim that the property guide or service information was intentionally misleading. We acknowledge that communication and service coordination could have been smoother during your extended stay, and we have reviewed these concerns internally. We take both maintenance and guest safety seriously, and we continue working with our vendors and property teams to ensure the home is properly serviced, inspected, and prepared for future guests.

Last minute trip!

The home is very comfortable, furnished well and the outdoor pool area was a plus. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as well as the outdoor grill. The pool was clean and the green space behind the pool was nice. We did have to sweep off the outdoor furniture, but not a big deal. We enjoyed watching movies in the media room. The neighborhood is quiet, but close to grocery store and cvs. Pool towels would be nice to have and wi-if password displayed. Be sure to complete your registration prior to arrival so you will have your door code Overall, the home exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic stay with a very professional management team!

My wife, kids and I have been coming to Texas every summer for the past few years to spend time with her family who lives there. We have stayed at multiple rental properties and always rent for almost 2 months. This year we lucked out by finding this wonderful property which was in a nice residential neighbourhood. The best part was the management team at Goldenest who were very responsive and handled our stay and any requests we had perfectly. The house itself was very well appointed and had everything from coffee machine to crock pot. The house even has its own media / cinema room which our kids loved and a nice office space upstairs which I could use to do my work and take calls. The master bedroom was large and very spacious with big shower and whirlpool bath tub which made bathing the kids a fun experience. I would not hesitate in booking this property again and we would love to work with and stay long term with the Goldnest team at the helm. Thank you for helping us have an awesome summer and we will definitely be seeing you guys again soon. :)

We loved it BUT

some of the things that were not communicated were the steps. The stairs go 2 places in game room. Only 2 bds did not have steps(large steps). The master bed and bath had stairs down into room and stairs down to pool. The living room couches were straight up sitting.we were unable to relax even trying to lay down. It reminded me of waiting room sitting. Carpet cleaner where the when we arrived so the carpets were wet. Game machine did not work after 2 different workman came to look at it. The flagstone around pool was uneven and many stairs to get around coming into/ out of house. Basically we did not find house comfortable. When the address of residence was changed it caused us to drive further than planned. I think these are things the next renters need to know.
