The location was so convenient for us! We flew in from Orlando to attend a college football game at UH and a Texans game at Reliant Stadium. The train was a convenient way to travel to the Texans game. We found many fun places to eat and even walked a couple blocks down Binz to eat at those local restaurants. The rental was very comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. The beds were comfortable as well. We didn’t use the kitchen too much, but it was well equipped if we had needed to. All in all, a great stay!
The Bishop's Haven provided delightful accomodations for our 2 night stay in Houston. The location is easily accessible and the owner's were attentive and helpful. We will come back again.
The apartment was comfortable and had everything that we needed. Our host was very welcoming and offered a lot of information. And the location was great! We ate at Barnaby's, which is just a half a block away, twice in one day and we were able to walk to the Fine Arts Museum and the Science Museum that same day. Great location!
Very comfortable accommodations. Location is great - close to museums, park and medical district. Hosts very kind, provided a lot of information about the area and restaurants. The living room was different than the listing, but much better - very cozy and comfy.
The Bishop's Haven 2 was comfortable and clean, with easy parking. It's close to the Museum District, which we loved, and also easy to get to other parts of town. The property manager was very accessible and easy to communicate with!
Very pleasant 4th of July weekend at the Queen's Gambit
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Queen’s gambit. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. All the necessities are provided to cook. We had access to a washer and a dryer. There were also plenty of towels and even shower toiletries. There are multiple access points to the house, notably one with a ramp for individuals with reduced mobility. Everything was on one level and easily navigable with a wheelchair. The shower in the master bathroom was even equipped with a foldable seat.
The house is in a great location and very close to the museum district. There were quite a few great restaurants just a hop away.
Communication with our host was top notch. Eddie and Deidra were very responsive and a delight to talk to.
I enjoyed a nice weekend stay at this unit. Had some check-in issues to work through, but the owner was very responsive and accommodated the best that could be done as this was a bit of a freak occurrence. My only other recommendation would be to update the photos for the listing. It didn't detract from the quality of my stay at all, but the pictures for the living room area were different from my unit.....but might throw other travelers off so just giving that feedback. Again, these minor things did not impact my stay at all (hence my high overall rating), and I would recommend this lovely unit, especially if you are interested in being in the museum district area. Ample parking for the size of the unit and a very comfy space to spend some time and a nice and quiet neighborhood. Thanks!
The property was super convenient, but I did not know that there was a unit above us, so on the first night, kids were running around all over the place, so it sounded like a thunderstorm.
Very comfortable stay, everything you would need they have. Place was very clean. Place is very conveniently located. Walked to the museums and to great restaurants. Hosts answer questions pretty quickly. I would come back.
